And was terrible. For what he did I would have rather seen Simmons.
Then it's time for the Spurs to upgrade their coaching staff too.

sounds oddly familiar

Yeah we never recovered.
Someone needs to make a free agent thread or some , cuz we need youth fast.
Draymond Green's mom on twitter was making fun of Duncan and saying that he should retire because he is a slomo. Now we know where Draymond gets his manners.
Seriously? I'm not seeing that on twitter. Are you lying?
Duncan has often had pieces of guys like Draymond in his stool.
Serious question... has Draymond ever talked trash about the Spurs?
I saw this yesterday but was shocked you truly would believe this without homer glasses. I didnt expect a beatdown ...and i still sorta believed Spurs could force a game 7 but it had more to do with a lack of trust in okc to close than the Spurs putting it all together ...i knew Ducan had a 20 pt game in him (i said 30 before playoffs) but Spurs just looked a step slow these past few games and with only 1 day rest they lost every game ...i think you were seeing that with your heart not your mind Deeps.

I'm not sure. He likes to talk a lot and Dray is kind of a overall.
If the Spurs had executed properly, you probably would have heard something stupid out of Dray Greens mouth.
The bench was just a no show after game one. Duncan is an all timer and the reason I watched the whole game was to see what he could do. The Spurs simply could not get enough out of the "other guys". OKC had a bunch of guys (many of whom were lottery picks originally) play at a higher level overall. The were all in their athletic prime.
Parker, Duncan, and Manu could not possibly match their historical production at this point in time. Leonard and LMA did not get enough help to make that extra play or two in games 4 and 5. OKC will get smoked in the next round count on that.
Blah, the other guys, OKC´s other guys.
This game was decided when Robertson was able to contain Leonard one on one, and Adams was able to contain Aldridge.
Our best players didn´t play well, the "others" doesn´t matter if your best player is unable to take advantage on a possession, they are both bad, really bad, at passing once they get the advantage, especially Leonard who doesn´t recognize when to pass the ball.
The beautiful game, or the passing game the Spurs used during the 2013 and 2014 runs worked because our main players Tim, Tony and Manu, had really bought into it, they would start the possession with the ball in their hands, and once they´ve got and advantage on their defender they would pass out and commence a sequence with the defense trying to react, neither Leonard or Ardridge is good at recognizing when they have an advantage and the passing should begin.
Simmons would have dunked that open layup and the open 3 point shot would at least hit the center for the ring.
PATFO messed things up by considering bringing in both Miller and Martin. If Butler was still in the team, he would have been more credible defending Durant than Anderson.
True, both Leonard and Aldridge aren't great passers. Parker and Manu are no where near capable of breaking down their defender to gain an advantage. Diaw has trouble in the post against much bigger centers. There was nobody really who could set up the offense.
Truth hurts. Spurs did not have that offensive mentality that could blow away opponents or catch up to insurmountable leads..
The role players were all hesitant to shoot when free. I was like everyone wanted to play conservative offense and it showed. With zero open looks, nobody bothered to be aggressive enough to find an open look. Look at how GSW plays, it is like every player has the green like to shoot from 3.
I had thought that Pop had been keeping his cards close to himself until the playoffs. Unfortunately, once revealed in the first game, OKC adjusted their defense and it was game over. Spurs did not make any adjustments in their offense.
40 year old Duncan, 40 year old Miller and Danny Green were the only players with a positive +/- (and martin who was +1 but he doesn't count lol) That's messed up.![]()

Man, Rasual Butler. I'm still a little mad that we let him go. I truly believed he could have helped us in the playoffs and now seeing how the season went down, I'm certain of it that he could have done more than Miller or Martin in the playoffs for us. Even if it was for only 5 minutes, I'm sure he could have made more of an impact.
I still have no idea why they kept Bonner over him. ing disgusting to let go of a player that was contributing during the season to keep someone that had no chance of helping. I understand the loyalty thing, but it's not like some other team would have scooped up Bonner or wanted him. The Spurs would have given him a job in the front office, he would have been OK for work, wouldn't have been jobless for long.
To be honest this is Karma for kicking Butler off the team and signing a 40 year old PG to replace him.
Sad But True......
I just looked at her account and she did talk about Tim. Her and Warrior fans had a a lot of salt throwing at the Spurs on twitter for no reason other then basically hating and in their words " you guys your time is over it our time. You never gave us respect we hate you." They are a bunch of idiots. If The warriors win this year they probably 3 peat and then after that they are finished.
Why are we so pathetic team once again????
Why is your mother a ?
Why we spurs fans keep eating ??
