Lol rich man DeJuan was an insult to DeJuan Blair
Yup him. I officially hate him more than Terry... even after the Finley nut punch
Lol rich man DeJuan was an insult to DeJuan Blair
Thread worked no matter what some posters said.
this isn't even in the conversation for best PF. never should have been.
Defensive player of the year my ass.
Good call.
I'd love to see your list of non-overrated players because you've called just about every MOFO in the league overrated at one time or another including Klay and the so-called player kicking Green's ass..
Without looking it up, I probably called less than 30-40 guys overrated in over 8+ seasons posting here... not sure what you mean, tbh.
I remember det one time you tried to sell me Bargnani as some sort of star, but Bargnani is the poster child of overrated.
Lebron isn't overrated, Curry isn't overrated (despite this series), Westbrook went from overrated to underrated (despite his brain farts), there's a long list, tbh...
My list of overrated players
1. Ginobili
I received bad intel from my sources and you know I can't reveal who they are because that would be cheating. You're right though, that Bargnani would have destroyed det historic Spurs defense dis year.
I never took you as a flip-flopper? You can't go from overrated to underrated in the span of less than a year. He's the same player he's always been. He looks great in wins and terrible in losses. Maybe he was never overrated to begin with.
2. Kawhi Leonard - puts up his regular season numbers so he can win those "meaningless" regular season awards that will cement his legacy as one of the best. Then, he sends you home in the playoffs
God damn
Who gave this man the nuke codes?!?!
Who said less than a year? When OKC made the Finals with Harden, he was overrated as , tbh... then it went completely the other way over the next few seasons. Just take a look at that "Westbrook <3" thread that's a season or two old...
But you're not explaining why he was overrated. 23.6 PPG, 46 FG%, 4.6 Rebounds, 5.5 Assists (as a shoot first PG), 1.7 steals and a world of upside as a 23 year doesn't sound overrated to me. If that's the case, is someone going to start a "Kiwi Leonard is overrated AF" thread because there's a huge contingent in this here forum that think he's either the 2nd or 3rd best player in the NBA and all he has to show for it is a bunch of meaningless regular season trophy awards and a Finals MVP award that should have gone to Duncan. They haven't beaten a semi-decent team in the playoffs since Leonard became the best player and #1 option. Yet, for some reason, it's everybody else's fault and not Leonard because he puts up numbers. Westbrook put up numbers too but under the guidance a weak coach and terrible bench, excluding Harden. They literally had three offensive weapons along with the occasional Ibaka sighting.
Because back then nobody knew he needed to develop better decision making, and everybody fell in love with his motor and aggression. It's the typical "new guy that looks like a rockstar" hype, which is pretty normal, tbh, but up to that point nobody seen him enough to really tell what the flaw or flaws were. He tanked in those Finals, and since then he's been knocked down as a guy that could never change, would never understand the game, and then he became underrated...
But now he has a good coach, he's assisting a lot, grew up as a player. He still makes ty decisions here or there, but he's clearly a guy that understands his role better, and still has that motor.
As far as Kawhi, I said it in another thread, he has all the tools, but he still has some growing up to do. I do think some media overrate him some, but generally speaking, he's not the cover of ESPN every 2 weeks... he's still deemed as "up and coming", not an established guy like Lebron, and this season, Curry...
I'm still not over...
Kwa makes two game and series changing level highlight reel moves, the under the hoop semi Dr. J swoop dunk for a critical hoop. Then the steal and length of court jam as Westbrook stalks and then fouls him. Forever Spurs highlight reels as we beat OKC then the Dubs and go on to a 6th.
Instead. Pop happens.
Along with ThunderRef. Which he refuses to call out.![]()
Back on topic, how about Gaymond again tripping in Game 4?
En led phucks have zero fear of being rung up.
"He's a consensus Top 5 player in the NBA ahead of KD, and James Harden"...ESPN
