Too bad the Spurs core was too old to sustain that for another run..only the great Duncan came ready for an encore in 2015..Parker falling off cliff, Manu coming down to earth, Mills/Tiago injuries, Boris coasting etc was too much to overcome in the end..
Curry doesn't look close to 100% right now, that to me is more a reason why the Dubs are struggling right now than anything else. He isn't nearly as fast to the rim, so defenders can crowd up on his shot more.
No, they weren't. Aside from Mike Miller being gone (a huge factor in '13), many of their parts looked tired and old in 2014, Wade wasn't himself compared to '13, Allen looked finally done in '14, Battier too, etc... also, Spurs had HCA in '14 due to beating up on the easy teams of the league all year.
I should of included 2012 Spurs and Thunder to the list. 2012 Spurs were much better than 2016 Spurs.
Really guys? At least wait to see if the '16 Warriors actually win before you crown 'em...
I disagree.
Goodbye Thunder! 2012 team was better.Harden plus Fisher's toughness.
Legendary 3 point teams playing for the gold. 90s basketball lovers.LOL
