You've no room. Your Lakers got off the horse and yielded to the Mavericks to the tune of 36 points.
And let's not forget Boston 39 piecing you in the Finals.
You were talking about games 5 and 6 as examples of them folding. They obviously didnt fold in game 7 (20 lead changes and 11 ties) so you tried to use the entire series as a metaphor for folding but that makes no sense considering they were up 3-1.
The Spurs folded in their game six. You guys are just going to have learn to live with it.

But so did the Spurs.
.
YIELD, Spurs fan. YIELD.
I'm not arguing that. They folded after game 3, because the Spurs met the literal definition of what folding is: To suddenly stop playing well or effectively.
But per that definition, the Warriors also folded.
And the Suns have been doing it for 50 years now![]()
I don't deny my trespasses.
It's my religion.
Uh, no.
The LITERAL definition is bend causing a crease. Fold a piece a paper etc.
Its used as a METAPHOR when a team also bends/yields to an opposing team.
Once again, using words you dont understand.
da is correct here, Midst. I've noticed you do that a lot.
No . And folding has been long used as a synonym for "choking" in a sporting context.
Andat "uh no" when the literal in' definition of folding (in a sporting context) is to suddenly stop playing well, i.e. choking.
Of course you back your buddy.
The word the dip is looking for is surrender.
To fold, in a sporting context, is usually used when a player or team collapses after playing well. Where do you think the term "To fold under pressure" comes from?
No one says, "They folded under pressure" when a team loses by 30. We use terms like "blow out" or "laugher" for those situations. DSF is the one who doesn't know that the he's talking about here, like usual.
They were selling State's too
They were selling your .
And their's
And your's

They were selling your .
Uh..no (again).
Choking means to buckle under pressure.
Folding means to give up without a fight. To concede defeat. When you fold in poker, you dont even play the hand. You dont even challenge.
The Warriors choked. The Spurs folded.
See the difference?
HAHAHAHHAHAH....Good call
Suns fan jinxed the out of the Warriors. Good job, dumbass!!!
:
Are you dumb? Have you ever played poker? You can fold in two ways. You can indeed fold without playing the hand. Or you can fold under pressure from an opponent raising and re-raising you. Also, the poker metaphor isn't really used for sports (poker isn't a sport).
Oh.Choking means to buckle under pressure.
a. To give in; buckle: a team that never folded under pressure.
First 5>4, now this? The old cubby is dead to rights.
Youre gonna need a new shtick.
- "You'll play gettin' it done."
- Randolph Scott - "Ride The High Country"
like scoring 4 points in final 5 min of a game 7 at home is not folded.... dear god you are ing dumb
OP using Warriors to talk to Spurs fans
OP salty, eternal loser even when bandwagonning

Getting into a debate about the semantics of "folding" in order to rescue a butt-devastated thread...pathetic
