Lebron is the goat sf now case closed.
He still has a very slight shot at overall Goat ...
1 to 3 is about how overrated GSW was (and still is).
4 is when Duncan is way over is prime. And also, would that make Zach Randolph greater than bird? You act like anybody who beat Duncan is top five material.
Overall, none of your four arguments speak to why Lebron > bird.
Finally. You just dropped two of the three points you made regarding bird you originally posted.

Holy , kirby being better than Bird ...now I've heard it all![]()
LeBron is by far the best player EVER, tbh.
Calling one team 'overrated' is subjective. Points 1-3 are cold-hard facts and Lebron just trumped them. Lebron is the only player to ever beat Duncan and Pop in the Finals.
Point 1 is subjective. You can call the GSW the winningest, but whether they are the greatest remains to be discussed.
And Mike Miller, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Ray Allen, Shane Battier and a whole bunch of other players beat Duncan and Pop in the Finals, so that point is off.
Finally, you still haven't addressed how Bird < Kobe, or how Bird is not top 5 all time.
Point 1 is not even subjective at all. 73-9>72-10 as far as regular season goes. That's pretty basic arithmetic.
Lebron is the best player of the 2013 Heat while Duncan is the best guy for the 2013 Spurs. Also, Lebron's epic game 7 is the key to the Spurs' very first loss in the Finals.
You were prolly born in the 70s and watched a lot of overrated 'greats' like Bird while growing up, but the reality is Bird is nothing more than the greatest white American basketball player ever. He's stats are inferior to Lebron and God have a mercy on his poor soul if he played in today's NBA.
Leading Everyone In Everything
LeBron James is the first player in NBA history in any series of any length -- regardless of round -- to lead outright or tie for the lead among all players from both teams in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks for an entire series.
LeBron James in 2016 NBA Finals
FINALS RANK* Points 208 1st Rebounds 79 1st Assists 62 1st Steals 18 1st Blocks 16 1st *Among players from both teams

Lebron s on MJ+Bird+Magic+Kareem+Hakeem combined tbh ............
Great != Winning number of games.
Level of compe ion matters.
So was Allen's shot in Game 6.
Kawhi and Green performed great in 2013.
Garnett's stats are comparable to Duncan, so are Malone's.
Still didn't talk about how Kobe > Bird and how Bird is not top 5 all time.
So what's your objective way of measuring 'level' of compe ion? Umm, 80s players are waaaay better than today's players because of their physicality and defense?
Allen was simply the right person to make that dagger three at the right moment. You know, the greatest shooter in the history of the game.
Bird has as many rings as Lebron while playing in an even watered down era, yet his stats are waaaay too inferior. I get that you idolized that stiff white dude growing up, but stop embarrassing yourself by clouding your judgment. Bird is nothing more than today's Ryan Anderson with better court vision and passing. Sorry for ruining your childhood, but it is what it is.
Let's face it, Kobe with McHale and Parish would've raped the entire league in the late 70s and 80s. Conversely, pair the prime Kobe with prime Duncan and you're looking at 3 rings at least.
So how is Bird in a way better than Lebron? I often wonder why his Boston team only won three rings despite the level of compe ion during that time. He racked up rings when MJ was still young while benefiting immensely from stacked Boston teams.
I can't, it's up for debate. What I can say is that they are the winningest regular season team in NBA history.
Point is, this isn't an individual sport. To include all team accomplishments to put someone as GOAT is misleading.
No argument given at all. The league had 24 teams back then, but little/no players outside of US. I can't say the league was more or less watered down.
Bird had a peak of 29.9ppg, 11 rpg, 7.6 apg, 2 stls and 1.2 blks. James was 31.4/8/8.6/2.2/1, not entirely sure how those stats are "waaaay too inferior". If you want to go advanced, Bird's Orating/drating was 115/101, James was 116/102.
Bird led the league in OWS once, DWS 4 times, total ws and ws/48 twice, and BPM 4 times.
James did it 4, 0, 5, and 8 times.
Like I said, Bird's peak was as high as any, his problem was his longevity, and that's the main reason Lebron > Bird.
To claim Bird is Ryan Anderson is just juvenile trolling, and it puts you in a worse spot in terms of argument.
Jabbar dominated the 80s like he did in the 70s, and he played to a standstill with an old Wilt. Hakeem beat an old Jabbar but didn't dominate him, so it's reasonable to say Jabbar in his prime would be equal to or better than Hakeem in his prime in the 80s and 90s. Same logical goes to Hakeem/Shaq and there's nothing after Shaq.
Jordan didn't dominate the league until the 90s, and he was in his physical prime in the late 80s as well. TMac/Iverson/Carter/Kobe couldn't do squat against Jordan until he got to the Wizards, and Carter is still contributing to a playoff team in his late 30s.
Did I say Bird is way better than Lebron? Do you even know what the argument is about? You said Lebron is clearly ahead of Bird, and so is Kobe. You also said Bird is not in the top 5 as some sort of factual statement, to which I do not agree. I think there are arguments that Bird doesn't make the top 5, but I also see arguments for though.
As for Kobe > Bird, that is just re ed.
