    And the Lakers + Rockets offered 72m and he still declined them to stay in ATL
    Obviously $2M more wasn't enough to persuade him to go to a worse team in a tougher conference. To me, this was a no-brainier on his part.

    Of course. Not only that, but Atlanta was the team that truly gave him the change to flourish, much like the Spurs did with Danny. Good for him and Atlanta. I think he made the right choice tbh.

    It's just funny to see how irrelevant the Lakers have become.

    I wish there was a separate forum, kind of like a "think tank", where you could post about individuals the Spurs should target. Or maybe an "offseason thread" where you could capture ideas about players as part of a broader conversation.

    Oh wait.
    What the would we discuss in the main forum during the offseason if not everything you just described?

    He'll be north of $15M.
    $19 M was his asking price. Looks like he resigned for 4 yrs/70 M. Insane for a guy whose career averages are 43 FG and 6.4 ppg. Nor are his per 36 and career highs impressive.
