Kobe was such a black hole no one wants to play there even after he retired. You have no room.
Its not Kobe (anymore) its fo disarray and lack of proven talent.

Wrong actually. You know why stars didn't go to OKC? Because they were not sure Durant or Westbrook were staying. This is a move that helps them next FA.

    Hurts them*

Who the wants to play with a black hole?

Well players did vote him MVP year before last so I'm sure there would be SOME.

They ALREADY offered him an extension & he turned it down. He can sign w/ the Heat & be the face of the franchise. If they can get a medical exemption for Bosh then Riley can build a contender around him through free agency unlike OKC.

The only team I could see trading for him are the Celtics since they have a bunch of assets thus can take the hit if he doesn't want to re-sign. The Suns might be dumb enough to trade Bledsoe/Bender only to see him walk since they are desperate.
Why would you trade assets for Westbrook if there is a chance he might bolt your team next off-season? If any team trades for him, then they need assurances that he'd resign with them next off-season, if not, then you simply can't trade for him. The only other way to go about it is ask where Russell wants to go and see if you can trade him to that team, but then if that team knows he wants to go there, they can just wait until the off-season and sign him without losing any assets. Wow, the more I think about it, OKC is kind of screwed and in a very tough spot.

Dominos was open to re-signing w/ OKC but he walked so there is no guarantee that WestBrick will re-sign even w/ his shortlist of teams. The Celtics have to trade away their picks b/c they just don't have space on their roster so they might be willing to gamble.
