Bernie's objective is much larger than the 2016 election. He's trying to get progressive policies implemented.

Aligning with the Clinton campaign to defeat Trump is simply a calculated decision in a longer game.

    what?

He's going to be catatonic, on a vent, and with a Foley catheter in place next time he enters the game.

The long game is to get progressive policies enacted, not to become president. Is Clinton ideal? No, but she's a of a lot better DJT.

When it comes to trade and foreign policy, Trump is more progressive and Shillary.

liberals jumping down the Shillary rathole and actually thinking she's going to be anything close to the president she pretended to be during the primary

I'm no fan of Hillary. I'm simply explaining why I believe Bernie is now backing her.

"She's better than Trump" is really not a much deeper argument than "Trump is better than Shillary"...

It's unfortunate that's basically all these two campaigns have going for them...

    Washerman-Shultz...

    First mistake.
She should have resigned much earlier; now this is a distraction.

I agree. But it's a binary decision at this point.

Yet I'll bet you're going to vote for her even when there's a more progressive candidate (Jill Stein) out there.

Anyone who thinks Shillary isn't going to be the same center right-wing corporatist pros ute her husband was is kidding his/herself.

I live in Texas so I have the luxury of not voting for her. That said, if I had to cast the deciding vote for either Hillary or Donald, I'd vote for Hillary every day of the week and twice in Sunday.

Im dissapointed in Bernie. I know he considers her the lesser of two evils, but he has a big enough following to be able to put continuous pressure on the crooked snake. He should be going ape over this. Don't just shill for her for the sake of 'party unity'.The large contingent of Bernie bros will vote and do as he commands. He is our king.

My question is what is your explanation for why Bernie is supporting Hillary. You seem to be totally confused as to what I am asking.

Jill Stein's a ing nutjob, though. The crazy is literally running on a platform of "guaranteed jobs," anti-vax, "free" college and universal basic income. Another idiot who thinks other people's money is unlimited. She makes Hillary look good.

I've been saying, the establishment won't go down easily.

The Repug establishment will bide its time. Trash will be crushed. Then the Repug establishment resumes control.

Is there any doubt in your mind HRC will nominate a more progressive SC justice than Donald? Is that not reason enough for Bernie to throw his support behind Hillary?
