Apples & oranges really. Even though he pretended to be an outsider, Cruz is the traditional establishment guy acting like a because the "change" candidate beat him. Bernie is the "change" candidate who just embraced business as usual.
It sucked watching him endorse her and personally I can't bring myself to vote for her. Nono is right though. It's the logical move for him. This helps him become the most powerful senator in the country. It allows him to maintain his influence in order to demand more from the snake when she ends up being the president we all expect her to be.
It is apples and oranges for more than that: Cruz knows he's relatively young, and he can be a frontrunner going forward. But, for Bernie there's no such thing. This was it, and there's no going back. That's why I said it's too late in the game now.
Cruz is your average calculating politician playing the long game. There's no long game for Bernie, this was his shot, and there's no rolling back the candidacy at this point. He might as well hop in the Clinton train and try to use his influence from a potential Clinton administration. Realistically, that's all he has left.
lol asshurt conservatives mad it didn't go their way tonight
yall wanted bernie to burn the whole thing down and he didn't so all you have left is to question his integrity

I'd rather watch Enrique dribble the air out of the basketball for the rest of my life than vote for that snake. Ideally she'll be assassinated a couple of months into her presidency.
Exactly. Bernie best shot now is to try to fight from within a potential administration. Even if that fails, I doubt he's campaigning again in 4 years.
Sanders had the golden opportunity to represent the majority, not the 1%. Some people followed Sanders because he exposed a system for what it was. Rigged and corrupt. And he's actually been proven correct with the leaks. Saying his supporters should vote for Shillary now because "In the end the establishment wins anyway so you might as well vote for them because blue is better than red" is really stupid.
Yeah, if Hillary wins he will call her out for not delivering, will run against her and will sell out again.
You keep saying vague things like "He could have represented the majority."
What SPECIFICALLY do you think he should have done or said and how do you think that would have changed things? What exactly was "the opportunity"?
Except he didn't say that, at all. He addressed very specific points where he feels blue vs red does matter, at least to him, and are very important going forward. ie: SCOTUS nominations.
Should he speak up about the rigged nomination process? Sure. He actually did during the campaign, he even sued the DNC, IIRC.
But his power right now is within the party to reform, he's not running again, I don't think.
Just because the DNC screwed you, and I sold you out, don't go getting pissed off, SMH...
This guy is a right winger, just like angrydude.
Bernie decided to endorse Hillary and not split the party apart so he's got a problem with Bernie now.
Bernie supporters may or may not end up voting for Hillary but they are definately not going to vote for Trump under any circustance so I dont know why StrengthAndHonor is so butthurt.
why are some people angry that they didn't see fireworks a la Cruz? I know it makes for great TV, but this was pretty predictable. There's no way in they were rolling back the nomination due to those emails.
lol at people thinking the democrats are going to give a about Bernie after November 8th
I actually feel this is true too. Going forward, the Dems are going for Booker, Julian Castro, even Mic e Obama, tbh, don't sleep on her...
All candidates that are already much more digestible than Shillary...
Got it, my bad. Makes sense now.
It's very likely that the worst night of the convention will be when Shillary speaks, tbh...
I cannot help but like Sanders. He didn't just tell people they should vote for Clinton. He told why with specific policy provisions. I was also happy to hear him say he wasn't finished. We need more people like him and not less.
rewatching it now.... didnt realize they actually had a cerebral palsy patient as a speaker
and people thought the RNC show was trying to prey on emotions
