Pop and RC aren't going to go back to undersized players anymore unless they are immensely talented.
Yeah. The energy he brings more like Nocioni but his style of play seems like Delfino. Just my observation.

really don't know much about the guy. would take him over LJC though.
Just... No more smurfs.
undersizes JJ Barea? Isn't Barea already 5'10"??? You mean oversized?
I just can't see how he can have the handles or the shooting of Barrea at 6'7". I don't get the comparison.
He's refering to Facundo Campazzo, Argentina's PG.
Garino looks like he may have a little bit of spring on him.
so maybe Arc Forbes and Garino get waived then head to Austin.
Toros are going to be damn good watching this year.
"akward athleticism" is how a guy with the Spurs described Nocioni to me when they were going after him during his glory years in the NBA.
Is Bertans any more athletic that Garino?
I donīt get this, isnīt 15 the roster limit for NBA teams, 13 active and 2 inactive or in the NBADL?
Man now I don't know if I want Garino or Forbes to make the club.
Up to 20 for training camp, then has to be cut down to 15 before the opening night
I suspect the last roster spot will be basically reserved to rotate guys between the D-League and main team, tbh... based on what the team needs at a given moment.
The contracts are important because otherwise another team can come in, call them up from the D-League and sign them up. This way the Spurs have basically the best of both worlds, and on the cheap.

I bet Garino will make the cut. In addition to his 3-point shooting, they will need his size and defensive versatility to match up against GSW. Last season, the Warriors did a great job in making defensive liabilities like Parker and Mills completely unplayable.
A small ball line-up of Lamarcus, Kawhi, Green, Garino and either Manu or Kyle at point could be a defensive menace! hmmmm.......
Looks too small to play the three...
6'7" for SF is too small?![]()
Not sure that true, looks two inches less compare to Nucioni...
With today's game, height really (somehow) not a big deal anymore. I'm speaking about the position 2-4.
If he can translate his game based from the video highlights to the NBA, I'm really really sold.
Really hoping he could translate it. I can see a game of Delfino-Nocioni in him which I really liked.

I've read that the average NBA SF is 6-6 in shoes. There is no legitimate argument that Garino is too small.
Leonard is 6'6" without shoes. Garino is also 6'6" without shoes. The difference is Leonard has a 7'3" wingspan, Garino has 6'10" wingspan.
Danny Green is shorter, but with same wingspan at 6'10".
Kyle Anderson is 6'7.5" without shoes with a 7'2.5" wingspan.
So just on these numbers, I think Garino should be able to play SF.
Draymond Green is 6'5.5" tall and 7'1" wingspan... honestly Garino physicals check out to be okay in today's game.
