I didn't think he was Spanish. Did he play there and get citizenship before he came to the NBA? If not, how was he able to play for them?
Yeah...not going to happen.

He joined Real Madrid's youth squad at age 14.

How does our Kawhi compare with Butler as a point forward/ballhandler/playmaker/creator??
just curious
I have a dream, that Tiago Splitter RETURNS to the Spurs!!
Kawhi is an underrated playmaker. It's just Manu and Tony and West aren't gonna space the floor for him. It's why Lebron always has a lot of shooters around him. Kawhi is lacking in that department(teammates lack spacing). That's why Patty Mills fits like a glove when playing alongside Manu or Kawhi.
And FYI guys. i reply to questions that are posed for other people lots of times.
So who are most Spurs fans rooting for in the Bronze game Pau or Patty?
(I'm rooting for Mills personally. Though really I just want them both to leave healthy or in Pau's case no more injuries).
Anyone have a link for this game?
In all sports, players should only be allowed to play for their original countries, otherwise you just make the rich richer.
The USA isn't going to know what hit them. This Australia squad that got whipped by Serbia is giving Spain all they can handle, and the USA could barely beat Spain, even though Spain didn't play well. Serbia is going to whoop dat ass in a few hours.
Serbia, the successor state of Serbia and Montenegro and FR Yugoslavia, is the most decorated Olympic basketball team of all time behind only the USA and Russia/USSR (and the only team to win a gold aside from Russia/USSR, USA, and Argentina), and are going to show why Eastern European basketball is rising again.
Of course, Yugoslavia's gold medal in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow didn't have USA participation due to the boycott, but still.1980 was the first time the USA did not win the gold medal in men's basketball. Yugoslavia would continue it's great run in the '80s with a silver in the '84 games, silver in the '88 games (behind gold medal-winning USSR), and also a silver in '96 on American soil.

Both Patty and Pau are carrying their team, each with 20 points halfway through the 3rd quarter.
Hopefully yes, but that type of equation is kind of ridiculous.
Sweet play by Australia, they ran a counter to the usual hammer play and got a wide open elbow jumper for Patty.
Pau going to the line after a quick foul by Baynes
But mvPatty blew the easiest shot of his life.
Luckily, he was bailed out on the offensive rebound.
Baynes hits a tough hook shot in paint, Aussies back up 1 again; 9 sec to go.
Sergio Rod goes to the basket for a layup, gets "fouled" by Patty. Going to FT line, 5 sec to go.
BS call against the Aussies.
Sergio hits both FTs, up 1; Aussies have 5.4 sec after timeout.
Aussies inbound play got messed up and didn't get a shot off.
