calling the Chiefs a pretty good offense, their QB is scared to throw the ball further than 10 yards
The Texans dominated the game yet they only won by a touchdown. That should be a concern for them.
In the regular season.
It's early, of course, but winning that game in Foxborough and getting that tiebreaker would make it very hard to lose unless they fall apart. The Texans have the best defense in the league and their offense is only getting better and better with those receivers and talented Ozzy gaining good experience. They just beat another top 10 defense and moved the ball very well despite only 19 points. The Texans dominated the game and field position and held a pretty good offense out of the endzone.
Watt is something else.
I love the Cowboys, but wouldn't mind seeing the Texans score the first ever NFL home Super Bowl bid in history and probably for a long, long time. If so, I'd like to see Watt get 6 sacks, a couple turnover recoveries, and maybe a red zone TD catch on offense... he deserves it.
Hoping the Texans can go 3–0 on Thursday.

They only won by a TD because young Ozzy threw 2 picks in own territory across his body to the sideline. The fact was they dominated the game and lost the fluke plays, so that's a double win.
"They only won by a TD because their QB played like !"
the Dolts just scored... come on Ware!! Miller!! Where are y'all? Make A-Cuck eat dirt dammit...
One receiver dropped a wide open touchdown, and later in the half another bobbled a catch that would have gone for one. It happens.
So basically all Houston's -ups that happened don't count?![]()
Where did I say they didn't count? I said they are fixable.
K great. That doesn't change the fact that this wasn't some kind of statement victory the OP is trying to claim it is.
Texans aren't winning until they get an actual QB instead of Assweiler.
but his interceptions were fluky and are going to magically disappear when the playoffs happen
![]()
Still, the Texans game was close because of fixable issues that should be ironed out. Some teams have problems that can't be so easily ironed out.
The point is the Texans have a DOMINANT defense and an ever improving offense that should be pretty high octane by the second half of the year.
So essentially you're saying the Texans are going to be good because of a bunch of stuff that hasn't happened yet but you think will happen.
Great.
He beat the chiefs unlike the chargers![]()
I had the Patriots winning Thursday with Garoppolo. Don't think that rookie tarvaris jackson looking guy will cut it against Watt, Clowney and that DL.
Why are you trying to judge what is or isn't a statement victory in week 2?![]()
Wow, what a bold prediction! You're saying the Patriots might lose a game with their 3rd string QB starting!?!?! Who know!
Beating the team that just gave you a big fat goose egg on your own home field in the playoffs is kind of a statement win, tbh.
Why are you ignoring the fact that the OP is doing this exact thing?
Because you don't make any points. Other than using emojis.
The point I made was that winning by 7 against a mediocre team isn't some kind of statement win. That was the point I made in my very first post.
@ this goal post move.
"Why are you trying to judge this!"
"Oops I meant to say that it's OK to judge this but you haven't made any points!"
The Chargers also suck and nobody's picking them to win the AFC.
Congrats on the Week 2 Regular Season Win Against the Chiefs Championship. When's the parade?
They're ordering the "We only won by 7 points but would have won by a lot more if not for a bunch of mistakes that we promise are really fixable!" banners right now![]()
Emoticons =/= Emojis, tbh
