WTF. You admit that he takes advantage of a rigged corporate system and you expect him to not continue to aggrandize himself and 'fix the system,' whatever the that means?
Best chance of fixing the system is SCOTUS nominees that will repeal CU and the only candidate still in this that has promised to appoint them is HRC. That alone in my eyes makes her the better choice.
Hope is not a plan, princess.
Name 1 specific reason or policy that makes you think Trump is willing or able to "upset the corruption". His tax policy is designed to be a windfall for himself. His energy and regulatory policies are a rehash of the "establishment" that you despise. He wants to boost defence spending massively while cutting taxes and keeping en lements as-is. He whines about the debt but wants to add a boatload of new debt. He has not identified 1 specific, quantified spending cut. His proposed trade war is enough to kick off another recession.
On the other hand, his history suggests he would expand corruption. He likes cronies who agree with him, and is likely to appoint yes-men rather than competent people around him. At least one of his businesses (Trump U) was a scam. He was sued and/or fined repeatedly for skirting laws both in the real estate and casino businesses. He's been using both his charity and campaign funds for personal gain. He has bribed state officials to avoid Trump University investigations.
We get it - you don't like the status quo and want to change something. But electing Trump is equivalent to lobbing a hand grenade into a car and hoping that the explosion will fix the engine trouble you've been having. There is no upside, and plenty of downside.
What's even more ridiculous in this case is that we're talking about his personal tax return, not his company tax return. There's no fiduciary duty to shareholders here (and we know how that went). This is strictly personal gain.
Trump should have just given all that money to the joker to burn for it him, ala the Dark Knight.
I'm bored. Can anyone suggest something I should check out?
My emphasis is meant to be on WOMAN since dabom thought I was a man - nothing to do with Trump/God. And he is hardly my typical conservative Republican. Gosh, either I'm not expressing myself well or you guys are not comprehending what I'm saying.
And the irony of it all is that Hillary used this so-called "scheme" in 2015 and took a $700,000 loss and got a tax refund of $3.5 million in 2014 (according to Fox). The NYT uses the tax code to minimize the tax it pays also.

crying about a tax return when Clinton Foundation was working as a subsidiary to the State Department
Blue team reaching new lows
thinking that Shillary and Bill would hesitate to pocket as much $ from tax returns as possible
Hypocrisy at its finest
Fox probably mixed up the report - maybe it's the NYT that had the 3.5 (3.6) million dollar tax refund. That's a little too close for my comfort - it's probably a mix-up (saying it was Hillary who got the 3.5m refund instead of NYT).
Honestly I hate being negative about candidates as its way too easy. People who actually can say something meaningful and positive are useful. It's just very hard to admire either candidate in this election. But when one is so utterly full of contradictions and can't think when challenged, it's scary.
Both candidates have stated rebuilding infrastructure is a fundamental goal toward jobs creation and a better economy. I believe this to be true and personally I am more than willing to see my taxes go up because I benefit and also believe the country will. There. I said it.
And I do understand the reticence in a vote for Hillary. But my gosh looking for real positives in Trump is so difficult for me. And when you listen to Trump supporters.... Really? Most Hillary supporters seem to be motivated by default IMO.
Seriously? That's an ignorant statement.
Using a loss carry forward is a standard tax treatment of growing companies because you might have years of losses before you show a profit.
You borrow money to invest money in new buildings, equipment, trucks, employees etc.
At the end of the year you spent more money than you got in income and your company is growing and providing a service and jobs but you lost money.
After years of scrimping and investing and building your company you finally start to make a profit, but you still have to pay back all that money you borrowed to build the company.
Being able to deduct the early losses from the new income actually balances things out and presents a true picture of the actual taxable profit of the company over a multi-year window.
How is this "gaming the system"?
Without it, it would be almost impossible to start a business and ever make it profitable.
Clinton Foundation should be handed over to new people and should be kept running as it is actually helpful but also has so much money coming in friends and relatives can sponge off it. But it actually does something useful unlike fake Donny and his University.
Truth. Try it out.
And F the blue team you partisan skank. Save that for Boots.
This is NOT what Donald has done. He has been let out of debt by banks. Do you just continually screw your creditors because you are SO BIG. Who do you think ends up paying for Donald's loses so he can get a do over?
Winehole was attacking ME.
And rmt put you and Trump in the same sentence.
You are welcome for the PR. I'll send you my bill.
Success typically does not come without risk and responsibility.
it's easy to be a hater.
So, you have a problem with bankruptcy laws in general? Isn't that what anyone who declares bankruptcy ends up doing - screw over their creditors? If you all have a problem with the laws, the gripe should be with the politicians who make the laws. We have enough problems with people who break the law than worrying about people who are following the law.
No - that was Winehole himself.
I don't think some get how hard it is at first - sinking everything into a business, taking that chance, the uncertainty/unknown. LOL - my day trading is similar - sometimes like gambling - is the market gonna go up or down?
I guess you guys all hate Jeff Bezos at Amazon too.
He used billions of loss carry forwards before Amazon ever started paying taxes and they still only pay about 4%.
Miami hometown boy
Is Jeff Bezos running for president?
Hillary is also running for president and used it last year.

You are referring to taxes you pay through your business. Why was Donald taking close to a billion loss on his individual tax return?
