And yet he led you to two les with that softness.
He didn't LEAD anything. He had ZERO playoff wins before joining the Lakers. And while he was a great contributor and player, he is well known for his softness, especially on the defensive end.

The only people that think Pau was the leader of the Lakers are the idiots that obsess over Kobe. Mostly Spur fans which is of course understandable seeing as how he all over the Spurs in the playoffs.

    Nice try.

Nobody can replace Tim. That's what top 10 all time is about. You retire, even when you are finished and you team gets worse.
So by your logic, if the Spurs are anywhere close to the top 2 in the west or around 65 wins then TD wasn't top ten? BRILLIANT!!!!

What I expect from him? I expect him to challenge that dunk better than that. Sure, sometimes centers get dunked on. That was a weak challenge by MVPAU. That was 2011 playoffs Pau in that play. Weak ass "Shannon Brown had sex with my girl right before the 2011 playoffs and I'm heartbroken" level of weak. Trust me, I've seen this song and dance before.

Phil used to compare his game to being like a White Swan because it was so graceful. Kobe said he wanted him to be a Black Swan with some hood in it. That play vs Whiteside looked like TOSB Grey Swan
Agree. All time top 5 in TD will be missed.

    soft as Gasol.

Never wanted the Spurs to sign this scrub anyways.

Don't bother; he's a Laker fan. Incapable of rational thought or logic. Also he 'retired' and left a farewell post long ago but keeps coming back like every other Laker fan to bask in our glory. I can't blame them tbh.

I said around 65 as I was guessing as to your wins last year. And surely there are one or two games that are won by a fluke or lucky play that has nothing to do with talent Clearly 67 is around 65. Yikes!

So lets say exactly 67. If the Spurs win 67 are you going to come in here and declare TD is no a top ten player?

I doubt you will get even close but its not going to be because TD retired. It's going to be because all the compe ion improved.

There is a lot more to leading a team than what can be shown on an advanced stat sheet. Maybe just maybe if you actually knew basketball you could watch and interpret for yourself rather than have to refer to a stat sheet, which NEVER tells the whole story, to form your opinions.

Or maybe you could just ask Pau himself if he considered himself the leader of the Lakers?

Single handed he defeated the entire Lakers organization and fanbase for the next 10 years.

Can you smell that, old man? No, it's not your colostomy bag. It's the next few decades of spurs basketball without sniffing a ring. It's over, window's closed. You will die without ever seeing your team ring again, old man. It's an harsh reality but life is like that sometimes.
