I wish the danny fortsoms and charles oakley types still existed on each team. If so, somebody would have effed him up by now

Imagine if he did that to a pre depression medication ron artest. Ron ron would put a hurting on that mouthbreather

I feel sorry for Artest. He's not very smart, and he has a lot of baggage. But you're right, he wasn't a wannabe tough guy. He would have just ed up Draymond, and not really understood why he got suspended for doing it. And Oakley? I would love to see Draymond try that with him. Charles Barkley would have put him on his ass, just to send a message. Draymond's got game. But right now, he gets to play by a different set of rules than other players.

Reggie Evans went thru that phase of grabbing balls. How'd they get him to stop?

What's it going to take for the league to start taking serious action on this?
Gaymond signing with any team other than the Warriors, Lakers, Celtics or Bulls.

First thing I would do as a head coach would be to set up a fine system for technical fouls and flagrant fouls. What ever your fine by the league you put in a kitty to be donated at the end of the year to a charitable organization. If you get tossed from a game, you lose your pay for that game. LET ME DO THE TALKING ABOUT BAD CALLS.
The ESPN article makes it sound like Kerr has no organizational backing when it comes to dealing with Draymond. From the article: "And should Kerr attempt to counter Green's excesses, there's seemingly little organizational support. "He's on an island," one Warriors official says of Kerr."

Draymond is a fake tough guy.

There are still some bruisers around that he'd back away from. Like Zach Randolph.

Green has a reputation for not backing down from anyone, but the Grizzlies may have his kryptonite: fellow Michigan State Spartan Zach Randolph.

You don't mess with Randolph. And as seen in the above video, Green knows that. We're used to seeing Green stick his tongue out at Blake Griffin, but against Randolph he's apologizing.

Coincidentally, here is a timely post from Golden State of Mind about Draymond's T-issues: http://www.goldenstateofmind.com/201...echnical-fouls

And then there is the ESPN's piece: http://www.espn.co.uk/nba/story/_/id...-green-problem
"... might be held to a higher standard..."

There are some. But it used to be that every team had at least one. I miss that aspect.

The knicks had about 5 at one time in the nineties.

Xavier mcdaniel was crazy mean. Jordan was scared of him and jordan was a complete psychopath on the court. That says alot.

I miss the brutal fouls and fights. Its not consisten with my passive nature but loved the intimidation aspect because its mental warfare in a sense

And that same X-Man was flattened by a mean pick from Grandmama Johnson.

Unlike today's pussified NBA, 90's basketball was tough. If Draymond had to face the Knicks with Oakley and Mason, he'd be crying and hiding under his mother's skirt.

Mason was scary looking. That mean mug. Those blood shot eyes. He would make deebo cross the street to avoid him.

At this point, it's a well-established behavior. NBA should take a hard line against this bush league crap.

Dude cost his team a le last season with his dumbass antics, and hes 1/1 for technicals/games so far this year. Let him keep at it.
Draymond could get 5 techs in any given game. Who gives a sh** if he picks up a one game suspension, tbh.

Yeah...that was fun. I remember the Lakers - Rockets (or was it Rockets - Celtics) back in the late 80's and it seemed like there was a fight every game. In fairness to today's players, the NBA doesn't go for that anymore. Fake tough guys is exactly what they want.

That crazy Ron Artest fiasco might have been the final straw. LOL at players running up into the stands to beat up fans. That's keepin in real.
