I feel sorry for Artest. He's not very smart, and he has a lot of baggage. But you're right, he wasn't a wannabe tough guy. He would have just ed up Draymond, and not really understood why he got suspended for doing it. And Oakley? I would love to see Draymond try that with him. First thing I would do as a head coach would be to set up a fine system for technical fouls and flagrant fouls. What ever your fine by the league you put in a kitty to be donated at the end of the year to a charitable organization. If you get tossed from a game, you lose your pay for that game. Green has a reputation for not backing down from anyone, but the Grizzlies may have his kryptonite: fellow Michigan State Spartan Zach Randolph.



You don't mess with Randolph. And as seen in the above video, Green knows that. We're used to seeing Green stick his tongue out at Blake Griffin, but against Randolph he's apologizing.

Yeah...that was fun. I remember the Lakers - Rockets (or was it Rockets - Celtics) back in the late 80's and it seemed like there was a fight every game. In fairness to today's players, the NBA doesn't go for that anymore. Fake tough guys is exactly what they want.

That crazy Ron Artest fiasco might have been the final straw. LOL at players running up into the stands to beat up fans. That's keepin in real.
