Nice write-up, OP..
Can we get Nono's translation of this article?
Nice write-up, OP..
Thanks for the grades and the effort. Too kind to Kyle but other than that fair.
Thanks op![]()
To be fair, that was the idea. He just never delivered.
Also, I bet some lazy ass writers are making their way to spurstalk again now that Game grades are back...
Multiple instances already where material is stolen...Sme dude was even caught red handed and fired.![]()
Zach Lowe will probably be next. Even the worst drivel on here doesn't beat projecting Houston as GS' biggest threat last year.
To be fair, it was a ing stupid idea. Bogans was never a defender at any time in his entire career. He had by far his best defensive season with the Spurs. His DBPM was 1.1. For reference, Nando De Colo's DBPM in 2014 was 1.2.
Yeah..but you get the ops point
Bogans the 'centerpiece' era, holy f dark times![]()
Anyways props to tbdog and apa, solid grades so far
and ofc course chinook for organizing this
This Game Grade had way more effort. I invested about 3.5 hours watching the game then rewatching some bit then grading...This game grade probably took 4 hours..that incmudes watching the game ofcourse.
As the season progress, game graders should have an easier time to though..since they can copy the structure f previous game grades.
Would also be nice if everyone placed a touch of their personality...although I dont know why racist like Jimmertacular are allowed tbqh.
Non-Spurs fan: Trade Danny, the Spurs have a habit of finding guys off the street who can do what he does.
You could definitely tell that tbd did his job here. I love the fact that people are really putting effort into this. If this doesn't make you respect posters who did this for every game, not much will.
Yeah, it's the same thing with my perimeter defense threads. Each one took like five hours the first year. But by the 2014 Finals, I had the charts almost auto-populating.As the season progress, game graders should have an easier time to though..since they can copy the structure f previous game grades.
Yep, that would be fantastic. These threads are usually 80-percent informative and 20-percent fun anyway. Be creative.Would also be nice if everyone placed a touch of their personality...
Everyone is welcome. No krew owns Spurs fandom. There are posters whom I really wanted to see sign up like dabom, Fuzzy and Hoop Czar.although I dont know why racist like Jimmertacular are allowed tbqh.
Actually garret temple was one of a couple of combo guards that I was surprised didn't stick with the spurs. He's fairly long and athletic, with good handles for a 2. Thing is the NBA keeps trying to make him a pg and he doesn't quite have the playmaker for that.
How the do you give Kyle worthless Anderson a B
I'll have to re-watch, but my memory was that Kyle Anderson was passing up open shots again, as usual.
Can't have him starting anymore if he's refusing to shoot when open. There's not enough time in the shot clock for him to dribble dribble his way off the three point line and reset things after Parker does his nonsense.
He wasn't doing a dribble TBH. He was often wide open and didn't get passes. He has to earn trust from teammates that he's going to shoot and he hasn't. A mistake that is on him to rectified, but he really didn't get much opportunities. he was cutting and setting screens off the ball. In general was more active than he was in the past, but I still want to see him shoot a 3 bc he can. Tony was passing up shots and dribbling a lot into long 2s that he clanked.
Yes. The point should go without saying. Kyle is replacing a guy who wasn't exactly the model of consistency. If Danny Green had 12 rebounds, 2 steals and a block in these first two games nobody would be paying attention to how many points he scored, they'd be glad the Spurs are 2-0.
He saved half a dozen points on transitional defense alone, and nabbed team high rebounds.
Thanks for the grades! Good work!![]()
