The final price tag is going to be about $10M per season for the three losing seasons and hardly any hope for next season.
I want to say its more of a only allowing Buechele to do so many things.
The wide open middle of the field was frustrating.
All you need is a QB who can keep the defenses honest and you score at will with your running game.
Sad really.

I really don't know so I will take any insight on Buechele.
All I know is we are incredibly predictable with a tiny number of plays. That was very apparent these last two games. And Gary Patterson feasts on teams that are limited and predictable.
We can get a lot better if we really do have the talent as portrayed by recruiting analysis.
But I am an optimist. So I tend to skew +
I'm skeptical at this point and I can't imagine what this recruiting class is going to look like. There are major Texas recruits out there that we are almost certainly going to miss out on now.
I went to the game today and sat in the booster end zone in the 15th row - everyone in front of me sat 70% of every snap. Only rarely were any patterns ever run over the middle. It seemed 90-95% of all pass patterns were outs or fly routes, even with two receivers stacked on each side several times. Stadium emptied with 9 mins left. Gilbert either sucks or was totally out of ideas. Strong the bed in the second half too.
Two things going down tomorrow, per 24/7...
-Strong will be fired.
-Texas leadership intends to interview Tom Herman.
thats what i mean by the wide open middle of the field part.
either gilbert is a coach or buechele really a qb.
Neither
Gilbert is a good coach that is baby feeding the offense to Buechele. Shane is a true Freshmen and has loads of talent but he is still a baby at the position on this level. He wasn't give the middle of the field because he isn't experienced enough to make proper throws there. Next year he will be trusted there, but for now you get what he was allowed to do.
Oh please, that doesn't mean you don't run slants at all. Just game planning
Buechele is supposedly injured as well. He's been a noticeably different player for a string of games. Sucks that his backup is a guy they didn't let throw at all this season.
If Tom Herman is hired as the next HC at Texas, 24/7's "industry sources" are hearing these guys as potential coordinators.
Offensive Coordinator:
Sterlin Gilbert, Texas, OC/QB
Sonny bie, TCU, Co-OC/QB
Lincoln Riley, Oklahoma, OC/QB
Jeff Scott, Clemson, Co-OC/WR
Rhett Lashlee, Auburn, OC/QB
Tim Beck, Ohio State, Co-OC/QB (allegedly interview for the OC job at Houston when Herman was hired)
Defensive Coordinator:
Dave Aranda, LSU, DC
Todd Orlando, Houston, DC/LB
I'm actually much more interested what he plans on doing on the defensive side of the ball.
I'm seeing on Twitter that LSU will name Orgeron as the full-time head coach
told you s Herman was never going to Lsu
OrangeBloods says Perrin will have a meeting with the football coaches around 9:30 a.m.
Aranda would cost a pretty penny, but that would be awesome.
Nice work by Herman's agent to use LSU as leverage to milk even more money out of Texas. Now you just have to hope that he's not a bust. Never trust an ESPN report when dealing with an LSU coaching situation.
Just can't say enough about how exciting this is. Herman at Texas is going to be Epic
