The official American version is that Cuba was a democracy and a bunch of communists started a fascist communist revolution and overthrew a democracy. That grossly misrepresents the situation. Cuba was a de facto American colony and the people wanted their independence (see the info in my other posts).

The first wave of Cubans to leave Cuba were the sell-outs who were cooperating with the puppet government. Some time after the victory the revolutionaries declared themselves communists and started to expropriate private businesses in the name of the revolution. A lot of people who supported Fidel and fought with him were quite surprised by this and they were the second wave of Cubans to leave Cuba. I used to live in Miami and I got this info by talking to Cubans.

There's a theory that during the revolution they weren't planning to become communists after the victory. The theory is that they needed Soviet support to keep the Americans from taking back their colony and the Soviets put the condition that they become communists on their giving them their support. I'm not in a position to know if this is true but it wouldn't surprise me.

I have never understood that. It takes how many seconds to read any post here? I have those I won't respond to because they get a nut when I do, but I do read why they get ignored.

Sorry that's just how I feel. Seriously have you ever seen Cosmored post about the NBA, NFL, College Football, Soccer......anything? It's always dumb like that. Moon Landings...censorship on the internet....etc. If he threw in the occasional post about Russel Wilson or Kobe....maybe it's pay attention to the things he posts. Until then...I will not read his conspiracy theory . I won't do it.

if u made it out and never remitted a single dollar like buying up cheap dirt land/estate then u fail when the price is still very fkn low, when cuba starts to open up its economy and emerging develop, expect prices to sky rocket...

ur only fear is losing it all cause u dont know what sort of property rights is for non-cubans
