NE would be stupid to punt that game, considering Oakland wins the tiebreaker head to head on strength of schedule (they'd likely finish with the same conference record with the same record). Kansas City losing today helped NE out a little bit.
I thought for awhile that the AFC was the superior conference but I guess I was wrong. 7th place team is worse than the 7th place team in the NFC, and NFC has stronger division leaders (aside from the top two which are a wash for either conference) and the Giants, maybe the strongest wild card team in years, one who could probably beat any AFC team with that defense and big play ability of the receiving corps.

Ah ok that's what I was wondering, wasn't sure who had the tie breaker. If that's the case then Miami might run into issues but ircc they'll be in good shape if they win next week.
Cards D was always overrated. Their DL never was very good, they're good but not elite in the secondary, a couple splash players but no biggie.
NOLA has a top 3 offense and likely the worst defense in the league. Too bad.
I called it that Chandler Jones was overrated and wouldn't do anything to help Arizona. Me.
Miami now controls their own destiny. 11-5 gets in, guaranteed, since the Broncos lost today. There won't be a repeat of the 2008 playoff fiasco that went against the Cassel Patriots.
Brady has a losing record all-time in Miami's home stadium, they're the one AFC East team that the Pats haven't just royally dominated in the Brady era (though they nearly always win in NE). So I can definitely see Miami serving up their annual Patriot beatdown in South Beach, especially if they're fighting for the playoffs and super hungry while the Pats laze around.
Your pass rush looked the best today as it had in YEARS. Then again, the Doncos have one of the worst OLs in the league, so it's whatevs
Their pass rush is still a definite weakness, but the thing is, it wasn't any better with Chandler Jones. He couldn't get any pressure when it mattered, all he did was rack up sacks against the Jets and Bills.
I do think Alan Branch and Malcolm Brown are underrate though. New England has had a consistently elite rush D the last few years and it's because of those two.
your pass rush is a lot like the Cowboys, a bunch of no name guys racking up sacks against bad offensive lines and not getting pressure against the good offenses.
As many articles have pointed out the past few weeks, the top of the NFL is the weakest it has been in a long time, tbh..teams like the Patriots and Cowboys should not be #1 seeds
This week had some solid 1pm games, though..some great finishes..
I expected Denver to be better this year, tbh. All they need is below average QB play and they're not even getting close that.
The Dolphins and Texans are rated as 2 of the 4-5 worst teams in the AFC according to advanced metrics, yet they will both be in the playoffs1st round byes for Pittsburgh and Oakland..
Surprisingly, the QB position has been one of the least egregious problems on offenseI actually hope they keep him starting next year, due to his cheap contract and the number of holes they need to spend $ on..
They have 3 of the 10 worst offensive linemen in the NFL according to PFF, the 28th ranked running game(and sinking every game), no receiving talent outside of Sanders/Thomas..pretty much the opposite of how you should build a team around a limited QB like Siemian![]()
They need to renegotiate Thomas' contract, that is dropping everything![]()
Dallas trying to be cute by taking the ball instead of deferring...leads to a missed FG which gives TB good field position.
He does not ...bUT he is a accuracy guy not a deep leg guy that is on Garrett
I agree dumb decision especially with the desperate FGA
Dak needs to learn to escape the pocket and not take the sack in that situation.
