Truly sad... Sadly true.
you didn't see the game? Aldridge was out
Truly sad... Sadly true.
no, Beasley started raping green in the 2nd half
It wasn't rest. It's a bug that's going around several teams.
Jimmy Butler, Kawhi, Giannis, K. Love, Lebron, etc... It's actually quite common for this to happen.
Just because Pop has a tendency to rest guys, doesn't mean you automatically assume he's doing this to rest him. It's actually legit why he's out.
We'll just have to see, wont we
bull . I can believe the other guys, but Popvovich has a history of this . I believe nothing he says when players are out.
Meh. Spurs lost. Let's move on. It's annoying how after every loss people like to pinpoint our weaknesses like we're the only team in the league that has them while believing the other contenders don't have flaws or theirs are more fixable than our problems. bklynspursfan is one of the few rational posters after every game.
Another rational poster
It's just incredible, people act like we aren't going to lose games in the regular season. There will be bad losses, there will be big time wins. It's what happens throughout an 82 game season. Not every player is going to play great every night.
The expectations on here by some posters, i just don't know. With the exception of maybe 2 or 3 team, every team would love to be where we are. But hey...
still top 3 record in the league, that's not fake either.
GS, at home, losing to MIA who can't even score normally.
Cleveland lost to Utah. Spurs still with the 2nd best record in the league.
Houston only a game behind in the loss column, but it's only January
League is paper tigers. No dominant teams since all teams have at least one loss.
And what? It's a compe ive league at least among the Top 5 teams.
I called the Rockets a top 4 team in the West before the season started, tbh... not surprising at all. Regular season anyways.
Where is the "This Team Without LMA" thread?
This flu has kicked my ass, and I didn't wake up until midway through the 4th. But it looks to me like, without Aldridge, Pau wasn't exactly a defensive juggernaut. The Spurs scored a load of points, but they gave up a load of points +2. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the lack of a defensive anchor is sort of a problem.
I don't like to start new threads, but I did the best I could here.![]()
I mean, I see why some are skeptical because of what happened last season. But some on here act like the Spurs choke every playoffs like the Clippers or are some regular season team. ive actually liked this year's team more than the last two seasons.
I'm sorry but the Spurs have choked badly every year this decade outside of 2014.
Fact. People have very every right to be skeptical.
Since when does loss = choke, 100% of the time?
