Look man. If you voted by numbers and not impact you get one. If you voted by impact and not numbers you voted the other by using your criteria. If you used both numbers and impact together you get neither. In no way shape or form do you get both unless you just voted with ZERO ing rationale.

I'm not an Aldridge hater like some here. But that's the damn truth. Kawhi would spend the week working on his game.
Apples and oranges, Timmay would have worked out (if he was ever not on an all star team, lol) early in his career but later on I am sure he considered it a hassle and would enjoy or take some time off. LMA has been in the league for a minute, so while Kiwi would work out now, by the time he has the time served as high as LMA he will vacation too, if he were to ever not be voted in (like that would happen).

The difference between a winner and a loser, vacation? Kawhi would be in the gym all week working on his game and trying to get better.
I can't recall Tim Duncan being a loser despite stating he looked forward to having time off to rest and relax after being snubbed from the ASG a few years ago. Re ed post but then again you have always lacked intelligence so it's not shocking. After the age of 30 players rarely get better and at that point of time in their careers that there's zero or little room for growth. Lamarcus is in his 30's at this point of his career his focus should be staying in great shape. That is something he failed at miserably this year and deserved the harsh criticism that he received in this forum for being out of shape. If we are being realistic about expectations here you should hope LMA doesn't over eat during the ASG break and gain weight. So what did you want LMA to work on that you felt he could make tremendous improvements in 1 week? Time to be honest with yourself and admit that you are a big time Lamarcus hater.

The truth is you only looking at from one angle. One guy is in his thirties while the other one in his twenties. Take it from there & youll find the truth.

Aldridge isn't close to being an all star this season. He's just a good role player at this point, but has no business being in the all star game. Lacks any consistency to be a reliable second option.

I agree. But why does GS get 4?

Aldridge is not a star caliber player anymore..He wasn't snubbed out of ASG. A couple of hot weeks--like the one he had in late Dec/early Jan-- doesn't mean you belong there..Games like last night shows you he can't carry a team even in the dog days of the regular season..Who would have thought Kawhi wouldn't keep scoring 30 per night for the rest of the season?

LMA is basically Kevin Love status for this team-- a marginal 3rd option who is at the end of his prime..

Let's face it : Spurs are just too short on star power compared to other contenders..Even when we made the Finals and won in 2013/2014 two of TP/Manu/TD had the impact of Top 10 players in those two playoff runs..

Too bad Murray is too young and raw to serve as Kawhi's menacing sidekick in the mould of Kyrie Irving. Dejounte does seem to have the panache style and irrational confidence that brings home improbable playoffs wins..Something i just don't think Aldridge has it in him..

I agree in that 4 is a bit much, I don't think Klay should have gotten a spot but I don't have much issue with Durant, Curry, and Green getting their spots.

The point is, as average as LMA has been this year outside of his hot streak, two of those guys on GS are not having a better seasons than him.

When did this best record requires 3 or more all stars start?
