Pop kept Bonner on the team for about 5 years too long taking up a roster spot just because he was funny and charming in the lockers room and practice, and had "corporate knowledge". That spot could've been given to a really good minority player with impact potential on the floor during games. Talk about white privilege.

Racism is a national sin. But he didn't say all Americans were bigots. People need to open ears. You have to actually LISTEN to what he says before you get all blinded with hate because you THINK someone is talking directly about you. If you aren't a bigot he isn't saying you are.

As an American who is not a Dem or a Rep I could tell you that racism is still a huge issue in the USA. I have seen it for decades. Pop is correct in what he said.
