That sounds way too good to be true, but that's a complete steal if so.
From reddit: 'Heard on ESPN that it's 1-18 protected in 2017, lottery protected in 2018, and if not conveyed yet, drops to a 2nd round pick in 2019.'
Might be bull though

That would make this trade look a whole lot better tbh. Still a trade, but better.
Dude is 21, in his second season, on one of the most poorly managed teams in sports history, and you're talking like he's on the verge of being washed up.
How would a second rounder for Noel be a trade? No way Dallas is making the playoffs next season unless they go out and sign Blake Griffin or something in the offseason, in which case it would be a mid 20s pick at best.
Not at all, just a gut feeling, tbh.
I just wish they had gone after something better than this, or chosen to sell off players and tank completely. This is more of Cuban staying on the Treadmill Of Mediocrity.
Okay, that's a relief.
noel >>> oak imo.
kinda disappointed, was starting to like philly a lot, and noel was a big part of it. oak is dead weight on that team
Just wait, Justin Anderson is going to average 20 ppg in Philly. Another swingman Rick put in the doghouse for no reason.
That's a great deal then.
Yeah, unless Anderson goes full Kawhi in the next few years this is a good deal
Am I missing something???? Is Noel out there playing like the second coming of Moses Malone? Or like a guy with zero offensive skills, completely reliant on his athleticism, with a history of knee problems?
speaking of which, mavs probably shoulda kept chandler after they won in 2011 tbh
I've never been impressed by him but philly fans seem to like him better than Oak
he cant go to the dubs. probably cleveland imo
I thought that only applied if he tries to go back to Dallas? Since mavs traded him thought that rule no longer applies. If Dallas cut him no he could not join Dubs or did I get that wrong?
hmmm hadn't thought of that.
Well Oak has been pretty clear that he hates it in Philly, so that probably has a lot to do with it too.
oak is a big oaf who can score in volume... barely efficient enough, and brings just about nothing on the other end while not really bringing good intangibles
Noel is,only 22 with lots,of injury woes ...
But is tough can run and jump
And pre injury was one of the best college shot blockers of the past 10 years maybe not by numbers but right before his injury he was inhhaling shots around the rim ...to bad he got hurt.

He'll be a nice little player for the next 10 years or so.
