I don't get how people can't love being Spurs fans. This team has been in the mix for a le for 26 of the last 27 years. It doesn't get any better than being a Spurs fan. Being on pace to win 60+ games after Tim Duncan retires just blows my mind.

David Robinson was a hardcore republican when he was with the Spurs but that didn't stop me from rooting for the Spurs. I was still a spurs fan in '03 when he called out anybody who was anti-Iraq War un-american. For those of you who don't know I was anti-war back then. Measuring TV ratings or record sales with the traditional methods is antiquated, obviously..there are so many different ways to stream/download sports/music/movies nowadays, it's very difficult to accurately gauge the real number of viewers..cord-cutting is only going to get more sophisticated, too..
I can't even fathom how somebody could stop watching the NFL because players were kneeling during the anthem(which has nothing to do with the ing game) or quit the NBA because Pop doesn't like Trump

Ever since time warner required the cable boxes, I haven't been able to watch Spurs games on FSN. I was pirating cable thru my internet signal for years...
