Jeff Sessions spoke twice with Russian envoy during presidential campaign

No, he was asked whether or not parties associated with campaign, which he was, spoke with the Russians. He was not asked if they spoke about the campaign. There was also the questionnaire he was given where the campaign was not mentioned at all when asked about foreign contact where he again denied it.

You would buy into their obfuscation as you are a notorious simpleton. Nuance is opaqueness to you.

Why would a Senate AG confirmation hearing limit their concerns to the campaign? Your critical thinking skills are terrible.

Everyone makes mistakes. The lefty media is so good at leaving things out to make it seem like you lied. But his response was to the question. But yes he could've made it more clear. Oh well.

Do people not understand context? Lifting Sessions' answer and saying that what he said (in isolation) is a lie is disingenuous. He is referring to a very specific question (as a surrogate) - not saying that he never spoke to the Russians in his capacity as senator. Must they blow everything out of proportion?

The context is that he was a senior campaign advisor concurrent with his serving as a Senator and concurrent with his meeting with the Russian ambassador.

The question was whether or not anyone in the Trump campaign, which he was, had to his knowledge contact with the Russians.

If you are speaking about the questionnaire sent by Senator Patrick Leahy you are wrong.
