What a cliche, "nothing saying", empty phrase, tbh.
Ok, please explain me what did MJ and Kobe did in terms of "skills and fundamentals" that Kawhi doesn't?![]()
Kiwi is borderline top 50 right now. You're delusional if you think a ring this season would suddenly put him in the top 10 conversation but then again you think Manu>Dirk![]()

I wasn't necessarily talking about this season, tbh. If Kawhi keeps this progression and wins one or two more championships, along the way, as the top dog. He probably finishes ahead of Kobe in the all-time list, tbh.
That's a lot of ifs and buts. As we know things don't always go as planned.
Midget was supposed to be the undisputed GOAT by now but that world cup trophy seems to be out of his reach.
I've seen all 3 play and Kiwi is not on their level technically. Go watch some video or something, i don't know![]()
I agree son, a lot can happen. That's why I said you should pray for Kawhi to never ring as the top dog, tbh.
Now, I'm more interested in what fundamentals you think Kawhi is lacking than MJ and Kobe had, tbh. Could you please elaborate on that?
Just what I thought, tbh.![]()
Good lord. Lol
Is shooting 40% a result of fundamentals?
Oh, look the "I don't make homer comments so I'm cool" guy.
Angry you didn't get Okafot yet?
P/S: Did you really took the time to edit the lol smiley face on my original comment?![]()
I'll ELE bet you that SA doesn't get past the 2nd round, tbh.
You really want me to send you there again?

Oh look, the Manu>Dirk but I'm not a homer guy
Do you think is too far stretched to think Kawhi could, someday, win a championship or two as the main guy with the Spurs?
Taking the bet or not?
Iirc he also would take him over Kobe and Wade ...but i cant say for sure if that was him that posted that upstairs a few years back
spurfan has come a long way from only caring about rings tbh
To tell you the truth I'm not that confident about the Spurs this season, for exactly the same reason I've been on the Kawhi for MVP wagon since very early on the season: this is a glorified one man team, and those don't tend to do too well in the playoffs.
We have the worst rotation of guards in the entire NBA (not just playoffs teams, the entire NBA. Even your Mavs with those D-league signs get more production out of their guards than the Spurs) and giving the ball in the post to Aldridge is as good as a turnover right now.
The only thing that prevents me from definitely assuring that the Spurs are second round fodder is that it seems like we are going to face the Rockets in the 2nd round, and they also are a very flawed one man team. Still, they are built in a way that it would only take a hot shooting streak for them to knock any other team off in a 7 games series. So, even though I think the Spurs are better, I don't feel comfortable betting on a Spurs-Rockets series.
But I guess that if you really want to bet I'm in, I didn't plan to post much after the Spurs lost this season anyway.![]()

No, it wasn't me. I never trully argued Manu > Dirk either, fwiw.
There's nothing wrong with cheering for guys to get individual awards when you know you are not good enough to win it all, tbh. Last night was the most fun I had watching an NBA game in a long time. That's what being a fan is all about, not always has to be championship or bust, tbh.
Except that part where Jordan was way more efficient than Kirbs.
Kobe had some impressive footwork, moves, and was the best difficult shot maker in NBA history, but I can't see how he's Jordan's equivalent technically when Mike would sink those low-post fadeaways at a much higher rate.
sounds downright 2006 era Suns fan-esque. Must suck knowing deep down your team has no shot at a le, despite all the regular season success.
Not really, it has been a very entertaining season for me, tbh. What must really suck is watching a below .500 team for an entire season, can you tell me how does that feel? I have never experienced it, tbh.
