bruce irvin is significantly better than benson mayowa
But you've got to admit Mayowa is better than you thought he was at the start of last year.

Bouye is an excellent slot CB. Not going to get a lot of picks but good in man coverage.

Jaguars biggest problem is they still have no offense. Those Allen receiver guys are okay but nothing to write home about, your quarterback and OL still stink, no running game, etc. On defense you've spent a lot of money and your secondary should be good but up front you have 2 expensive gap integrity guys who don't rush the passer. Pass rush is still going to be an issue.

I was hoping Terrell McClain would go to the Eagles, not the Redskins, because it would line up with my franchise... it's okay, I'll give them Torrey Smith in my madden franchise instead. I have a lot of triangulation to do to make the rosters more realistic. I nailed the Brandon Marshall one though. Need to put DJax on the Bucs, Garcon on the Niners, Cousins back to the Skins, etc. Might consider moving Romo to the Texans since that seems more likely than the Broncos now.

Your not totally wrong. But I'll just say that ngaque and fowler jr are both up and coming DEnds. Malik and Campbell now make that line formidable. With a good secondary I wouldn't be surprised if the pash rush vastly improves. As for the offense they're going to draft fornette and become a running team first. Robinson, hurns, lee and fornette will be tough to stop with more chances on offense.

Did you know that the last Coach/gm to draft a qb for the jags before Blake, Blaine and Byron Leftwich was Tom Couphlin. He drafted David Garrard in the fourth rd out of ECU in the 2002 NFL draft. Not bad for a fourth rounder. I fully expect another jar on the shelf type qb draft and stash.

I don't understand he Gilmore signing for New England tbh, Malcolm Butler is a much better corner and should have been a higher priority.

Are they not two steps ahead? I thought butler was on the trade block. He'll command a huge contract and New England ain't about that.

They've still got Team Leader Rawls and the Legion of Boom, tbh. Struggle will still get to manage games, hand it off 90% of the time and get sucked off for it by Media and casuals.

plus the Gilmore contract is pretty damn big, you'd think if they had a choice they'd rather give that to Butler. The only possible explanation is that Butler is looking for Josh Norman money, or bigger, which is stupid.

Russell Wilson coming off another 4000 yard season without a line, what a stud this guy is. Give him some time to throw and, what 4600 yards 40td's. What a talent.

Histories best first five season QB ever.

0-line worries need to be taken care of, if they are...........whoa`~~

Butler's demands have to be outrageous for the Patriots to sign Gilmore and be doing everything they can to trade Butler.

Id be surprised if they're that outrageous seeing that he's a restricted FA with limited leverage. Gilmore isn't even that good of a corner imo, I'd rather give Butler Josh Norman money than give Gilmore the contract he has.

I also don't understand the random, extremely transparent obsession they have with Brandin Cooks. If they wanted a receiver Brandon Marshall would have been a much better fit and would have been cheaper.

You still need to draft an oline, which you're about 2+ years away on, unless you want Fournette to be stonewalled every time and play action to mean 2 guys in bortles' face which guarantees a sack or bad throw because bortles isn't a good or mobile quarterback at all... also Jackson/Campbell are run stoppers not pass rushers.

I hope y'all can compete for 2nd in AFC South because I don't like Andrew Luck and wish the Dolts last place every time. As for the ans I don't like them because they moved out of Texas so I hope they finish 3rd.

2+ years what the ? Between the draft and next years FA class itll be a new line altogether. I say the jags fight for a wild card this year and come out punching next year.

Butler is a top 5-10 elite corner absolutely. He's not too far behind the very top tier, the Sherman, Norman tier. Gilmore is a good insurance policy for not re-signing Logan Ryan.

And unfortunately, you won't get over the hump with Bortles even if you do make the playoffs. But first, you need to make the playoffs WITH Bortles, perhaps as the lower wild card seed, and a promising team around him so you can lure a real top tier QB to Jacksonville and the pundits can forever shut up about moving the Jags overseas.

I honestly thought the Jags would be at least a 5 win team last year and they were a 3 win team. I think Indy is the team that will suffer if the Jags go up.
