Just a town mayor taking up the ideas of a real city doing real things, hoping for some good will votes. Nothing genuine.
    Such is politics...

LOL, at people that think the Thunder will make the playoffs this season. They lost Durant, Ibaka, that leaves such a gaping hole for them it's not even funny. Westbrook is gonna play for himself, team will be a mess. 40 wins or a little more is what I think, not enough to make the playoffs probably. The le contending OKC team is over, this isn't it.

That he's staying in OKC is actually pretty cool. Absolutely cannot wait to see OKC vs GS.

Not saying its the plan, but this extension actually makes westbrook a better trade asset. They signed him early enough that he can still traded after feb 5.

It's a smart move because they can now at least see how good their current team is without Durant and Ibaka..and how well oladipo and the other new guys will blend in.

If the season is a major fail, it gives them justification to trade westbrook and trade him for real assets.

Cheap copy cats making the naming of a day after a local legend (who happens to actually be Legendary) into something thrown out like party favors.
Watch him bolt in '18. How they going to celebrate RW Day then?
    You nailed it.

i don't see klay going to okc. and it would be easier to convince blake to go than davis imo.

Westbrook made the smart move, good for him. He was becoming a more well rounded ball player as it was and the FO made some good moves to an already good team. Ibaka was NOT a loss
