The fat boy is straight up lying now. He never called Kawhi a great scorer in the initial thread. He actually called Klaynus a "much better offensive player", which makes the take that much tier since Kawhi is a better playmaker on top of being a better scorer.
This. Why Fat Hands can't just take the L and charge it to the game is beyond me.

He's a great player, elite. Still not a better scorer than Thompson but a better player without a doubt. 2 for 2 is more efficient than both. We'll give KL the popular vote.
Neither you nor Crippled Nation knows jack about basketball. You just root for players, which is why you bump posts when your guy has a good night and ignore it when it doesn't.

    Klay:

Record for pts in a quarter
Record for 3's in a playoff game (11)
    Higher career average than KL
    Multiple 50pt games
    60pt game
    Multiple 40pt games

    KL
41 pts on 30 shots = best offensive night in his career

Suddenly his MVP in the Finals is the trump card for any asinine argument about his greatness.

    Kawhi: 25.9 PPG, 48.3 FG%, 36.2 3PT%, 1.43 PPS, 8.3 OWS, 6.4 OBPM, 5.26 ORPM
    Klaynus: 22.2 PPG, 47.1 FG%, 41.8 3PT%, 1.26 PPS, 3.8 OWS, 2.3 OBPM, 2.77 ORPM

In the earlier thread he was crying about it only being half a season. Now he's crying that it's only a few months. Ironically, after whining that I'm "cherry picking a few months" the fat boy turns around and cherry picks Klaynus' 37 point quarter or his big OKC game. Wants to use career PPG for god knows what reason other than being a stubborn fat boy that refuses to admit he's wrong. Ignores that as a #1, Kawhi faces more defensive attention from opponents than a #2 or #3 like Klay. Asks why Kawhi didn't step up against OKC and Klay did, and ignores the fact that when his team rang Kawhi did this:

    And Klaynus did this:

    And Klaynus did this:

On cue with the Finals MVP caveat

KL averaged 17.5 ppg in the Finals
KL had 2 consecutive 9 point games in the Finals

KL average playoff ppg for career is 14ppg
Klay average playoff ppg for career is 19ppg

    2014 playoffs KL averaged 14.3ppg
    Tim Duncan averaged 16.3 ppg
    Klay Thompson averaged 16.4ppg

Scoring is about points. You can throw all the caveats you like, but they don't add to the point total.

Ok so who's scoring more points right now, your fatness?

And the fact he's facing more attention from opposing defenses isn't a caveat, it's a fact. You're just a stubborn fat boy that refuses to accept he's wrong.

Is that why he lost head to head against Klay?

    "scoring is about points"

Kawhi: 1760 total points in 68 games
Klaynus: 1620 total points in 73 games

Let's see how the fat boy spins this one, tbh.

    Why stop at 73 games?

    Klay career 8276
    Kawhi 6380

    Difference of almost 2000 points.

Both entered league in 2011-2012 season

    So in other words:

"I know, I'll use career averages knowing fully well that the argument isnt that Kawhi has been the better scorer throughout his career. That'll show him!"

"I'll just claim victory because Kawhi averaged 7 ppg his rookie year and 12 ppg his sop re year!"

    So in other words:
So then go to a micro level. You cherry pick a time range to try to win. How did Kawhi do against Klay? Who scored more in that game?

    Klay 23
    Kawhi 19

Those are the most recent H2H results.

"but I want to customize the data to suit my argument" FKLA (Stands for Feltching Kawhi Leonard's Asshole)

"Fat Hands pwned again ITT" Clipper Nation (Man without a team)

Klay vs SA career - 15.9ppg (lowest of any team in the NBA)

Kawhi vs GS career - 15.4ppg

"but you didn't use my customized time range"
