A glance at the plus-minus for both teams’ reserves in rotation is pretty revealing:

    Zach Randolph (26 min): -39
    Andrew Harrison (20 min): -19
    Troy Daniels (16 min): -29
    James Ennis (20 min): -28

    Pau Gasol (25 min): +22
    Patty Mills (17 min): +17
    Manu Ginobili (13 min): +18
    David Lee (15 min): +22
    Kyle Anderson (17min): +17
    -39 for ZBo!!!!!

To be fair, almost half of the grizzlies "bench" is starting.

Pau Gasol's stroke is uncanny guys,

Have you ever seen him this good at shooting before?

(Is he taking some Chip Engelland tutorials you think?__

He broke Kyle Korver's record for highest 3point percentage in a season. And he's our backup center.

Technically not enough made shots to qualify but crazy to think that he shot that well.

He lives in Memhis and probably listens to R&B bands, drinks rum, and eats ribs at The Rendezvous until the wee hours everyday!!

I don't know what the minimum makes or attempts is to qualify for the record, so you certainly could be right. But PTR said he qualified (for what its worth). And ESPN has him leading the "qualified" season leaders:

    http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/p...t/seasontype/2

I thought the minimum to qualify for the record was 100 attempts, but I certainly could be wrong.

Whether its official or not, its still cool.

EDIT: Basketball reference says to qualify you must have 82 makes. So, you're right. Interestingly, the minimum makes was only 55 as recently as 2013, in which case, Pau with 56 makes would have the record.

Maybe he can make one or two per game during the next 15 wins!

That is incorrect. Gasol is the new record holder tbh.

Tony shoots a good percentage from 3, he just doesn't shoot many. If he made 2 per game during the playoffs, that would give the Spurs a puncher's chance.

Did he hit 82 threes this year?

I've practically never even heard of those guys on the Grizzlies bench.

If this ends up being a "battle" the Spurs are screwed. I'm starting to think the Spurs 3rd string would beat the Grizz 2nd string.
