He hasn't been nearly as bad as people thought. Those chippies just went in this time.
4 points in game 1 Chinook. Some other lackluster games from him too ...
Again I think Pop posting him up all the time wasn't the way to go. He mixed it up and looked to seal ppl under the rim early. He worked harder off the ball too. etc. They adjusted where and how Lamarcus got the ball. He got some nice easy jumpshots going in too.. but Pop had been making it too hard for him with the posting up.

Being a ball-dominant PG, Parker sometimes took away other guys' shots.

His shot was much better today, but the bulk of his work was done in the paint. Every time he's tried to play physical, he's been successful. He wants to be a finesse player when he has the potential for so much more.
    Agreed.

Pau was really looking for him. Putting Pau back in the starting lineup is good for LMA's game. (Even though that was not the conventional wisdom in the regular season)

We need to attack their bigs more. I'm literally screaming at the TV for Pop to feed the bigs in the post when Pringles goes small. We can win this series riding on our bigs
Going to them in the post isnt the answer.

Theyve been poor all yr in post and were tonight.

Where they took advantage was putting in work to seal their man btw them and the basket or flashing -- getting great position in middle of lane right under the hoop. Its the work they put in to get great position for others ti set them up.

In post up opportunities, they fade away and miss 6-7 out of every 10 attempts.

Do fans watch games or do they just assume they were great on the block bc of the boxscore?

He actually got in good position deep in the post for once(just once). Also he was connected on moving across the lane for a nice layup. Need to get more of these good looks.

The difference was he didnt look scared at all. His moves were fast and deliberate. He didn't hold the ball and over think he just went into his moves. Only once did I see him have Gordon switched onto him and instead of backing him down he turned and faced...other than that one play he was great. Nice to see LMA look focused out there

He can be brutal against Rockets small lineups. He was a major part of popping it open last night in the fourth.
