He's a nice 4th wing, tbh..way too inefficient and erratic to be starting, hasn't shown any level of consistency during his time with the Spurs(there's a reason he wasn't a lock in the rotation, heading into the playoffs)..
Damn. Replace wing with big and you just described Dedmon<3 tbh

    Deadman will be gone.
I think that too, he's just not even getting token minutes at this point.
I mean I don't even want to bring it up but even Kyle got some minutes... Lee...
    Deadman nothing.
The others didn't get minutes either but they are rookies who have shown enough and in cheap contracts.
Deadman may opt in to his contract so maybe he will be back.

I can't predict Pau tbh. I do get the sense he's overpaid at this rate, (playing time plus role, plus becoming a situational player at 16 mill next season? That is too much)...
Mills and Simmons are getting paid though...

If he gives that kind of effort, I want him on the court.

Pop is giving Simmons more burn than I expected, so maybe he will come back.
He's going to get paid by somebody... unless Spurs move a contract, they don't have cap to go after a FA... I wanted them to but it's dawned on me that unless Spurs move some players (pau, the Tony contract. .. etc.. signing Simmons is probably the best they can do. How can they afford him and mills? I dont' know.

Simmons came up big. That charge he took against Harden late in the fourth was excellent.

Simmons needs to be cloned. Too bad he isn't 7' tall, we need bigs who play like him.

I can't see Deadman opting in to just sit in Pop's doghouse. He will sign with anybody who promises to give him a fair shot at some regular, meaningful minutes. The best scenario I can see for Pau is for him to opt out with an agreement to come back for a couple of seasons at a reduced annual salary. But I don't know anything about these guys' personalities or egos. Maybe he thinks he can opt out and get a better deal elsewhere.

As for opting IN, I've been saying that LMA is going to blow some minds by opting IN next off-season, consuming some cap space that many on ST expect to be cleared. He isn't worth his current contract, and he knows it.

Simmons has been brilliant throughout the playoffs and you predicted he would show up against his hometown team a week ago.
    1) simmons wasn't "brilliant" against the grizzlies you stupid
    2) where was your, or anyone else's prediction that he would step up against the rockets? here's mine from a week ago:
simmons shows up more in this series, i think he plays good in houston.

He better play 25+ minutes Thursday, especially instead of 2 bigs but knowing pop he'll play sparringly

I don't think Patty is playing himself into any big payday - especially of Lowery goes to Philly (which seems like a perfect fit).

where was your, or anyone else's prediction that he would step up against the rockets? here's mine from a week ago:
Raising goal posts "against the rockets"

I've been demanding he gets into the playoff rotation since it started. Dumb .

Simmons in the playoffs so far:
    15.5MPG, 8ppg, 2rpg, 2.5apg, 75FG%, 66.7 3P%, 24.4PER, .289 WS/48, 7.1BPM
2k5 is correct tbh... Simmons played great and his usual haters (Kyle fans) nitpick the one turnover he had.

No one talks about Kyle's turnovers, like when he passes up shots and then travels. I mean, he's averaging more turnovers than assists in the playoffs....
A week before your predictable, vanilla post

I think you are right in this prediction. If I am Deadman agent maybe I do avise him to go look elsewhere.

Predicting Simmons shows up more when Manure looked like a carcass and it's against his hometown team
