The difference being that there is actual proof of his incompetence. 110 days of pure garbage.

Where are the democrats who voted for him or the independents? He lost them for good. There's a reason why he cant get out of his base of 40%.

Trump is not winning re-election and that's written in stone.
Democrats could nominate another turd blossom of a candidate. They do that more often than not.

He's getting on over Russia and health care now after a first 100 days that went like a wet fart.

I can think of several demographics that might become disillusioned with the way things are going. I cannot think of any that didn't vote for him before that would now.

Trump's only chance is if the dems nominate a HIllary again. Any one with more charisma than a dirty toilet are going to eviscerate him at this rate.

Like he isn't going to get nominated and win the last election, that was also written in stone eh? The democrats aren't in a good shape and it'll just get worse by 2018.

Get used to saying President Trump, 8 years is a long time

Trash has 40% approval. We'll if that number declines. I bet not. People were stupid enough to vote for him, are stupid enough to stick with him

You're ate up with stupid I'm afraid to say.

In what world do you see him being re-elected? Seriously, make your case.

It's delusion talk. You not getting before and after it's mind boggling. Before=Trump wasn't in politics, he was a complete uknown.

After= He's shown to be unhinged and completely out of touch with the rest of the world. He hasn't gotten anything done legislative in the time period he's been in.

If you are willing to put money on him being in for 8 years, I'm in. Put up or walk the plank.

Washington Post bringing the ing heat
Trumpsters still gonna find a way to defend the dirtbag. It's amazing how less and pathetic they are. Rosenstein was clearly told by Trump to define a way to get rid of Comey and then basically the administration made Rosenstein the guy responsible for firing Comey. Also, it shows that the Rosenstein letter was really fake.

It was also reported that he has been trying to get in touch with Flynn but people around Trump won't let him because they know how horrific it would look.

Reck, you're in no place to accuse delusion when you buy into everything the media harps against Trump

Trump will win re-election because he's the in bent, because nothing he's done has hurt the life of the average american like Carter or Bush 1 did. He will win because the democrats have nobody to push, they keep playing iden y politics and will possibly give republicans massive gains in 2018. All Trump has to do is one big thing to basically guarantee his re-election. Build his wall, resolve the north korea incident, get the US totally out of middle eastern involvement, sustain record decreases in illegal immigration, the list goes on. He needs very little to be re-elected and you'd be a moron to think the dip s on the left have or will have any high ground after running the most corrupt politician since Nixon.

He's going to win, Reck, and it isn't because he's doing a good job - because he doesn't need to do a good job to win. You can thank the democrats for that

Dems hate Comey because they claim he cost Hillary the WH. Trump fires Comey. Trump wins the hearts of some Dems.

Reck, using proof by prognostication again. It's never worked, but for some reason prediction is proof of something.

idiot, you don't have to pay until 8 years elapses, but at any point along the way Mitch would have to pay you.

The odds this forum will be here in 8 years is lower than the odds Trump will still be POTUS.

I highly doubt it. He may get mad, lose his temper, not ever really laugh, but I don't think he is terrified of much. He is a gambler. I seriously don't think having to step down worries him in the least.

I wasn't even alive then and I fail to see the connection.

Trump hasn't done anything worth re-electing him for.

I'm still waiting for a valid reason on why you think he'll get re-elected.

There is no case to make.

Carter had plenty of reasons why he lost. Economy never recovered post Vietnam, Iran hostage crisis, Soviet imposing their will in Afghanistan, and losing to a popular candidate who coalesced the conservative base with independents and democrats.

It's called knowing a little history, Reck. Carter was butt ed by angry americans because how much of a hassle it was to get gas.

Look, Reck bro, I already told you my case: He doesn't have to do a good job because the democrats are in freefall for the foreseeable future.

Is there a way he could lose? Sure, if there is a bubble collapse during his 3rd or 4th year or we suffer a huge military embarrassment. He could just be out of luck, it happens.

But, if you ask the average voter why they didn't vote for Carter you'll hear them talk about getting gas. Sounds funny, but try and see.

The gas crisis was big during that time especially in a bad economy with massive inflation. Carter proved to be too inept during the tough times. The first Bush lost for similar reasons with the economy despite winning a popular war, but the economy mess was inherited from Reagan.
