Kasich pulling a Ted Kennedy would be a disaster in that scenario, since it would only play out like that if Trump's campaign was found innocent of collusion with Russia. Hardcore Republican voters don't regret their Trump picks, so the people who are going to vote in a GOP primary aren't going to want Kasich over orange head. Now if Trump is out of power Kasich absolutely should challenge Pence.

That will only work if just one person runs against him in the primaries. Last time Kasich and Rubio refused to drop out even when they had no chance so if Cruz and a bunch of others stupidly run against him Trump will be fine.

I don't see anything in him personally, he's a run of the mill neo-conservative corporate who preaches the same horse trickle down policy that never works, but a lot of moderates for whatever reason love him just because he was mild mannered and didn't say much during the Republican primary.

Laugh all you want. I'm just a lowly housewife who's devoted herself to God and family (on one income) and who is well aware of what gets touched by estate tax. I'd do it all over again.

Anyway, my comment was more wondering why Ivanka and Jared would be giving up so much (their lives in NY and businesses). Being president is in itself a great accomplishment for anyone, much less someone with no political experience like him.

I hope if it does happen they have something so concrete (and I'm talking something djohn2oo8 concrete) that no one not even his full on loony base can question.
