She would have had a shot in 2016 though given how much noise Bernie made in the primary. Warren has always been able to raise a load of money in her local races so she wouldn't have had the same disadvantage Bernie had in that department, and she would have entered the race with more name recognition than Bernie had.

I think he will try for re-election. His die hards will convince him that he would win no matter what the polls are saying around that time. You have to remember that Trump is arrogant. And if the Dem nominee happens to be Pocohontas whom he had epic wars of words with on numerous occasions I will bet my savings he would run against her. lol
