The Cavaliers are MASSIVELY overrated and only looked good because they play in the East. If they had been in the West, they would've been out in the second round.

The Spurs would have obliterated this Cavs team in the Finals if it hadn't been for Zaza Pachulia.

They had their highest ratings since 1998, tbh..

I think you guys are underestimating the effect of the casual fans(they love watching dominant teams), bandwagoners(usually my fellow s) and LeBron haters..not to mention the Warriors essentially have 2 fanbases(their small, pre-Curry community + 99% of Lakers fans)
They'd make a lot more money if it went 7 games than 4. A sweep is bad for everyone (except fans of the winning team, obviously, but even then it's more fun when the series is close).

The Spurs would have lost in 5. Lamarcus Aldridge was garbage and Klay shut Patty Mills down

Golden State would have figured out San Antonio's gimmick. The reason Golden State was down because of a long break.

I'd love to see just ONE really hard foul to Curry.
Curry was being mauled and the refs weren't calling on the Cavs. Officiating was tilted towards the Cavs - everytime the Dubs gain momentum, the refs call a silly foul on GS.

But they were not going to be denied.

They were tired. You cant ask them to do much more after giving 38pts and 39pts each. They had "0" help.

Not buying that fam. They are paid to be in shape. What they need to do is change their style of play. Putting your head down and going to the hole all the time will wear you out late in games like last night.

Contrast that with the Dubs. It doesn't take as much energy to shoot a 25 footer as supposed to expending energy driving to the basket all the time. This allows them to save their legs for defense (they were #1 field goal percentage defense all year).

For the Cavs, come 3rd and 4th quarter they are tired. All them dunks and and-1s in the 1st and 2nd quarters turns into pathetic defensive efforts - like LeHype's closeout on KD's dagger to end the game. LeHype had no legs to really contest. It's his own fault though for not developing a consistent jumper during his 14 year career (which will allow him to save his legs for the 4th quarter). He won't be able to play this style for much longer and expect to rang.

KD and other shooters will see their games age gracefully (Ray Allen is a prime example). Players like LeHype, Wade, not so much. I expect KD to play as long as he wants and be pretty effective due to his height, skill set, and ability to shoot from distance at a high clip.

Aren't these guys supposed to have the best sports medicine now? They have 3 in days between games. They've waltzed though the playoffs and have had DAYS of rest. Tired?
