Tbh, LeGOAT deserves Finals MVP, win or lose. He's averaging a triple double against the most stacked team in history, and his supporting cast is -57.2 without him. He is the best and most valuable player in the series.

To people that understand real basketball, Lebron is easily the Finals MVP.
For the fluffers and casual phan, they buy the deceit and will accept one of the Twinkys being peddled.

It's his own damn fault. Here is a snippet of their league leading payroll:

    LeHype $30M - justified
    Love $21M - overpaid
    Kyrie $17M - justified
    Tristan Kardashian $15M - overpaid
    JR Swish $12M - overpaid
    Shump $9M - overpaid
    Frye $7M - overpaid
    Korver $5M - justified
    Bogut $383K - played 58 seconds - overpaid

He's good at filling a stat line, but horrible at filling a roster

at the payroll argument. If a team's payroll meant anything, the Clippers would be in the Finals right now. Not every team has the luxury of paying a role-player salary to their franchise player because of ankle injuries early on in their career. Pretty soon, the Warriors are going to have to actually pay these guys, and their payroll and luxury tax will dwarf the Cavs'.

Boiled down:::LeGM built a championship team that would have repeated if not for the Kyrie/Love injuries. When Kobe tried to play GM, he ran off Shaq and Phil and missed the playoffs in his prime. The conclusion: the Lakers wouldn't be light so many rings if LeBron was their GM.

Tell that to toenail Clipper Nation. LeHype should have won it in 2014 because his stats were better despite getting curbstomped by the Sp*rs in epic fashion!

    Record vs 50-win playoff teams

    • Jordan 20-7
    • Hakeem 10-9
    • Shaq 18-9
    • Kobe 25-10
    • Duncan 18-10
    • Lebron 9-6

Stop it CN. LeBrons cake walking every year to the finals.

That stat is so overrated, tbh. How many 50+ win regular-season pretenders have we seen in the NBA over the years, especially in the West? If LeBron was playing out West this whole time, I have no doubt he could beat teams like the George Karl Nuggets, the current Clippers, the 2008-2012 Spurs, the Grizzlies, the T-Mac/Yao Rockets, the Harden Rockets, etc. without even breaking a sweat. He'd have more series wins over 50+ win teams on his resume without actually facing tougher compe ion.

there is no argument - LBJ's teammates suck but they didn't suck yesterday - those numbers should actually be worse, they got padded a little bit yesterday.

That is the dumbest I've ever seen so it figures you would cite it without thinking

You can count Duncan, Ginobili and Parker as HOFers and in their prime in '07 but 6-7 years later in '13 and '14 they were nowhere near their primes. Neither was Dirk in '11. Jason Kidd can be considered a future HOF too but he was in his 16th or 17 season in the 2011 Finals. Also, is Broussard counting Draymond "wide the open all the time" Green and Klay "just found my game after a month of sucking" Thompson as HOFers because that's the only way this math works.

And just to show how listing HOFers doesn't mean jack when it comes to team play....the Lakers had 4 HOFs on their '04 squad. Guess what? They got their pushed in by a Pistons squad with NO Hall of Famers whatsoever and that same Pistons team took the '05 Spurs to the absolute limit. Jesus H. Christ the softness of the NBA has spread from the game to the commentators to the "analysts" all the way to the dumbass fans. It's just a complete fest now.

but posting about TSOB HoF's is a legit stat? Hof dont mean , lakers got raped in 04 and they were "stacked" with HoF's. So stop searching for reasons to suck LeDoc off and just pray he comes back in this series, because thats really your last life line.

    You're one smart poster.

In all fairness, you're absolutely right.

    He is still the best.

The Cavs are stacked, honestly, however they have no coaching whatsoever so they really suck without Lebron.

I also blame Lebron for their weakness in coaching, most coaches are scared of Lebron because they might get fired if he's not happy.

I agree with your post but Dirk was playing his best basketball ever in 2011? There's no way they would've won otherwise.

But yeah this guy is probably counting players like end of the road Kidd (heck, he might've even thrown Peja in there ) and likely sop re Kawhi Leonard. Let's not forget about T-Mac riding the bench for the 2013 Spurs
