I have an issue with the tempo. The Cavs were doing ok until they tried to play faster and missed or lost the ball 3 times in a row. They need to get back to play slow and only speed it up if they have a steal or they have numerical advantage in the front court
They haven't played slow, all year, tbh..they won last game at the same pace..
They're built to play the same style as GS, they just don't do it as well..
But you do agree that they can keep up with GS if they play slower, right? Obviously they haven't played that way at all but that's the only thing that has worked for them IMO
To beat the Warriors you have to go right back at them. Playing a slow tempo just helps their defense. That's how the Cavs choked in game 3, that's how OKC choked a 3-1 lead.
No, I dont agree with that. Lowering the tempo is less possessions for them - we are all clear they can score at will so limiting the number of tries at the basket is a better strategy, otherwise you have to play perfect D and score a high % FG
