even if he dropped, it won't be into the late 20's bud. Maybe to 6 at worst.
No workie.

They can draft those guys without working them out since they are only drafted to fulfill an obligation to put a name down for the 29th spot that they don' t have to bring over and pay.
He is a very poor man's Malcolm Brogdon on the floor and lacks his intangibles. I will be very disappointed if the Spurs reach for him in the first round.
Brogdon outplayed him in their head-to-head matchup iirc. So yeah, he's pretty much a poor man's version of Malcolm. But he's still more NBA-ready than many other draftees. Getting Hart means getting an immediate contributor instead of just a roster filler.
The two main mocks have Hart going mid-second round -- 40 (NBADraft.net) and 42 (Draft Express).
Perfect for the extra second rounder the Spurs are going to buy!![]()
No need to buy -- just trade #29 for two or three of Philly's four picks between #36 and #50.
I don't know if you were making a particular point with those links, and I'm too tired to try and dig through minutiae. But it's a little disturbing that a guy his age is declining in max vert and no-step vert. He ought to be accelerating into his prime.
Unless there is a great prospect that has fallen to 29, I would love to see the Spurs do that.
PATFO are too cheapskate to buy picks. They'd rather dumpster-dive for guys like Ryan Arcisomething.
I understand the idea, but I think 50 is too low. Mostly, I'd like to see them keep 29, and come up with another pick between 31 and 40. If they are really as good as their reputation about finding diamonds in the rough, that would give them the best chance.
I don't know why you would be against buying a pick. That never hits the cap, and higher picks just mean that there's less chance of someone else scooping up someone good. I'm not taking a swipe at you - I just don't mind seeing Holt open his wallet, when it doesn't cost cap space.
Yeah. Sarcasm, hence the.
But can josh hart dance?
Josh Hart's peak will probably be Randy Foye, which is decent buuuuut.... eh.
Have the Spurs worked out any of these guys?
They worked out Thornwell but no news for the others.
I know it means diddly squat, but nbadraft.net has him going 45 to Houston
