I'm not even saying that he was wrong, but the point is that people took his word and created a whole reality based around it. LMA has apparently been unhappy for more than a year. This isn't new. He was unhappy in Portland and still played well. It wasn't a crisis situation. For all we know, though, LMA could have deleted all that stuff because the Spurs were going to inquire about trades (feeling like the season was shot with Tony hurt -- because Pop seems to still think that), assuming the trade was going to go through. If he and Green never get traded we likely won't ever find out the real story.
I was one of those folks checking out the lottery, excited for whom the team might get. But people are talking about salary-dumping him now, and that just doesn't make sense in a world where people are fighting over giving Joe Ingles $15 Million a year.
Wow. For a player who... ain't all that good.
I kind of noticed that trend on my last trip. Putting up all those swanky condos. Saw alot more uppity corporate types.
Almost kicked an Ari Spears wannabe's ass for intentionally throwing his drink on my lady. The big ass bouncer convinced me otherwise when he grabbed my damn throat and escorted me out.
He was hitting on her and she told him to off.
Granted, I went ape , but the other person should have been booted and not me. Guess he only saw my reaction.
Milsap is under-sized, and I've thought every single year that he was going to fade. And every year he's proved me wrong. The sonofa is good. I don't know about $30M good, but saying he isn't good is just silly.
He learned how to pass much better, he learned how to defend without drawing as many whistles. And he gets to the line about 6 times per 36, which means that he's good enough to force defenders to foul him.
You're talking about a power forward who shot 44.2% last year and whose eFG% was worse than Tony Parker's, a player who gets a lot of stick around here. He's 31 and those numbers aren't going to get better. His rebounding numbers are dropping, too.
You do understand that... oh it. You're right. Milsap sucks. Nobody will want him at any price, and he'll be D-League fodder from here on out.
Carry on.
I said he's not that good. Sorry to hurt your feelings.
To Mr.Fat Body - Danny Green > Paul Millsap
Here's a way to look at it, although it may be too complicated for your brain:
Danny Green at $10 million a year >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Paul Millsap at $30 a year
If you can't get that you truly are re ed.
Says... you?
Cool.
Iggy back to Warriors, per Woj
Ingles is a better shooter. although he's older he was more significant to that Utah team than JSimms, closed out games too. The shooting alone makes him more valuable. Was also a very solid secondary playmaker and fit really well with the team's stars. He was an integral part of their best lineup. Iggy got an offer for $15 mill x 3 years.. but obviously Iggy is a veteran with a longer track record, played more minutes, closed out games, also was a part of the GSW best lineup. Simmons is obviously not in that category. He's a tier below those guys right now in terms of role evaluation. One can evaluate what he did in the postseason, but that was 2 weeks. When you look at him during the rest of the season, he wasn't that. If anything his lack of shooting depresses his value... Let's hope he stays in a reasonable range... bc I don't think Spurs will pay him $13-15 mill per season like Iggy was demanding for example. That is why I think him and the team are at a stalemate. Maybe he doesn't get what he seeks in the open market and comes back. That is probably what PATFO is hoping... but if he gets a poison pill contract, it's something that gives you pause. Specially bc Spurs are already paying Mills 12 mill and are going to pay Pau as well. They also have a somewhat similar wing in Hanga, who can defend and is a playmaker. Then you add in White, Blossomgame, etc. I thought the Danny trade was meant to balance out this kind of contract to JSimms but all this is speculation frankly. I'd like him back, but I will be surprised if he's back at a price that will pay him $ 15-16 mill per year.
iggy back to gs
What ing hyperbole. Leave it to Mr.Fat Body to come up with some stupid like this.![]()

Agree, all those things show how unlikely it is Forbes sticks. Especially with Mills resigning.
Simmons didn't dominate the ball until the playoffs. More usage = breakout for him basically. He's not great off the ball, but when given the chance as a playmaker he succeeded in biggest way. During the season he didn't really play make cause he was low on the pecking order. But I'm sorry Simmons is more valuable in my book. Ingles can't be a sixth man like Simmons can potentially. Still i need to see more with Simmons but he's ready for more responsibility.
san antonio has a sort of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality/energy.
wouldn't recommend anyone to visit tbh. the riverwalk smells like and you won't wanna spend more than 45 minutes at the alamo.
not san antonio's fault but outside of downtown austin is zilker park, then greenbelt, and just a little further is mckinney falls
pros for living in sa: cost of living is low, traffic is really not that bad
MLE or LLE likely go to a big. I was outlining who was under contract to show how it's unlikely all of Manu, Hanga, Miluntov, Forbes, etc are around.
But yes, don't expect another big beyond those three. More Anderson and Bertans at the 4 against bench units.
