by then Wade will be more of a walking corpse than Manu was in those Game of Zones clips. At first I poo pooed this post (screw those old timers except for LBJ and CP3) but tbh I would love to have LBJ, then would like CP3 at a reasonable price and the other two if they wanted to ring chase ala David West I wouldn't despise having them on the bench unit.

I would trade Aldridge for Melo, without a doubt.

Melo and Wade are finished, tbh if they're on your team, they need high volume, which neither deserves anymore..

Doesn't matter, though, none of those guys would ever even consider playing in SA, other than maybe Paul..
I feel bad for all these posters melting down because the Spurs didn't make any major moves, tbh..what did you expect?

I've been vocal about the strong possibility that the game has passed them by, but the meltdowns over not signing big names are comical..criticizing them for re-signing Mills or the loyalty contact they gave Parker is obviously valid, but you guys really expected Durant and Chris Paul to sign with the Spurs? You expect them to make moves for stars when they don't have any assets to trade?

Now, it's more likely De Culo, Ayres, Stevie Jax, and McDyess will think about giving us another shot.

McDyess could still probably play better defense than Gasol.

He was one of my favorites growing up and just a really good guy. Damn shame we couldn't get that ring for him.

Saying Chris Paul would maybe consider playing for the Spurs is not the same as the Spurs being an actual contender to sign him..

Your shtick has been making even less sense than usual, lately you tried to tell me that Cleveland and OKC have done a great job signing FAs in small markets, the other day..been drinking like RC Buford in honor of Free Agency, this week?

Nah, you're just playing both sides against the middle. You spent half your Saturday and Sunday morning explaining to people how star players don't want to play for San Antonio (no assets, bla, bla, bla- other teams have no problem trading away bad contracts) except when it's before the fact and for fear of being wrong, you'll argue that he'd consider San Antonio. To set the record straight, he in fact did not consider them. Don't let that PR spin about concerns over Parker and Aldridge fool ya.

I will concede your take about OKC and Cleveland over mine. However, explain to me how Minnesota, who hasn't been to the playoffs since 2004, is suddenly a more desirable place play than San Antonio?

Good excuse to deflect the blame from our drunk ass GM, aka the worst deal closer of all time. It was probably him that leaked those rumors to Stephen A

A top two player in the league isn't enough to attract free agents?

It should be, but hasn't really worked except for attracting a big 6'11 vagina so far.

The Spurs seem to get them after their prime and/or accelerate their getting worse. Glen Robinson, Finley, Van Excel, RJ, Dice.
