To be fair, there are a lot of jackasses on here but I saw quite a few people make quality posts/objections in their responses to you and you disregarded them as trolls as opposed to have a meaningful discussion.

People like to around... some people far too much. However, you should probably try to judge each response on its own merit. Otherwise you end up looking like you shy away from any opposition view. That's a bad look. Just my two pennies.

I don't care to debate guys whose only purpose is trolling. And that's been very obvious based on past interactions. Some I don't even read so I don't know what's the latest thoughts up their butt. I wasn't like that previously but you come to this forum enough, your u eventually learn to not give a about some people.

If you agree that's fine by me. If this was about Kyle and not about me personally (don't know why the guy above thought I am a lesbian) so I have no idea what this is about.... For all I know guys are just really sore bc their favorite pet got outplayed by a guy they hate and feel compelled to be trolling me about it. Whatever it is, I don't care.

SAgirl has been watching basketball for 2 or 3 years and acts like she knows more than Pop and the FO.

The Spurs were not going to trade away LMA unless they were able to get a decent return for him. Obviously, other teams were not willing to give up a top 5 pick for him or Porzingod or anything else worth letting go of your 2nd best player for... and yes, LMA is the second best player on this team.

Once you realize that was not going to happen, then what else did you want the Spurs to do this summer? Let Patty walk and spend the money on George Hill? Maybe that makes the team better, but it's slightly better at best. Patty was going to get paid this summer. If Parker doesn't get hurt there is probably a higher probability he isn't on the team, but everything changed when he went down.

Overall, this is a very good basketball team. They don't need wholesale changes. Let's let the rest of the offseason play out and see where they stand, but if the plan is to run it back with a few minor changes, I'm on board.

For the past couple of seasons it's been obvious Spurs needed an upgrade at guard. Tony has clearly lost a step and now has a big injury. Manu is a s of himself and it's showed for a while. Now I know Spurs are about loyalty so I never actually thought either would get traded or anything . But green and patty shouldn't get loyalty love or whatever the team is doing with them. Danny can't create his own shot, shot for others and his 3pt shot hasn't been great in years. Patty sucks on d, isn't a playmaker and shot 21% and got destroyed by Livingston last season v gs. 2 years ago shot 23% v okc. Just when his contract is up and we need a pg upgrade more than ever they just resign patty.

kawhi is one of the best players in the league, he young but showed fatigue last year from carrying such a big load, and now he has to do as much or more to carry the same team except there older and more injured. His greatness is being wasted.
This upcoming year is gonna be a crappy sequel to a heavily flawed original

That people are still trying to argue that Kawhi carried a bad team to 61 wins and the WCF when they only lost on regular-season game without Kawhi and won two playoffs games without him is insane. I have many problems with the personnel and play style, but I can understand that they were the second-best team in the league with one star for a reason.

Idk why people assume so much when it comes to PATFO. Like no one here knows squat in terms of what they do behind the scenes. It's cool to make predictions and suggestions, but to say they did this or didn't do that, or didn't attempt to do this is just silly.

You're completely right. But this board is filled with a lot of people who have no idea what they're talking about. Part of it is there are no mods. There are idiotic factions about Parker and Ginobili and stupid ideas about what the FO is supposed to do every summer. It's always the same.

I completely agree that the Spurs need more playmakers. That is where the team is weakest. That said, I don't believe anything that has been done so far in free agency would have addressed that need for the Spurs, or was a realistic possibility.

The most anyone can offer the first two years is 8.5, so as long as the last two years aren't more than 14 mill we should be fine imo. Plus the Spurs have cap, potentially, so there isn't really a number a team can say, offer this and we know they won't match, and I mean like hitting the luxury tax what have you. Don't want to spend too much on him though.

19 mill per. I'd imagine the Kings out the race for Simmons unless Porter is matched. But they could get Hill and Porter. Not sure if they are trying to go young or win now. But I like what they've been doing there since they got rid of cousins. New culture. I guess this makes sense in the aspect that Hill can mentor Fox and make him earn his minutes.
