No way we make the WCF, if okc/rox click with their new players I don't see us making it past the 2nd round.
55 wins or so, WCF again.

Kawhi only thing I care about next year. Don't really care aboyt anyone else. Gotta make him happy so he stays.

48 wins, First round loss, if they aren't the 9th seed
Anticipating Kawhi nagging injuries at the increased workload, a heavier, worse Mills, an even more washed up Pau, and a much worse Manu without Simmons to soak some of those minutes. Replacing both Dedmon and Lee with Joffrey won't be a plus.
The rest of the west improved so much, and the Spurs answer was to lose the young athletes they had for nothing, lose Lee, and add a 30+ year old with a blasted Achilles who will probably never be the same, and definitely not the same the first year back like how Wes Matthews was a mess his first year.
Spurs even more of a one-man-show after the FO's miserable and incompetent summer. Spurs are extremely vulnerable to any Leonard slump or injury, both of which are more likely due to Leonard being asked to carry more workload.
Spurs prognosis is now fair-to-middling, and that might be reflected in their regular season record. Or not, since it's clear that for the Spurs, regular season record is a false positive/fool's gold.
Spurs do not deserve to be considered contenders given the ineptness of their off-season moves vs what their compe ors accomplished this summer.

I go into every season hoping for the Spurs to win it all, expecting it actually, and this year is no different. This season could go 2 ways....
Kawhi comes into this season even better than he's already been. Rudy Gay joins the Spurs and is back (almost) to full strength, really opening up some options offensively and defensively for the Spurs. LMA is not as disgruntled as many in the media would have us believe. Knowing he's only got one more decent payday in his future, we see a more fiery and aggressive version of Aldridge than we saw in his first two seasons with the squad. Gasol, big contract in hand, is more adapted to his teammates and surroundings, focuses on defense, passing, and opening up multiple easy opportunities for other players, hitting the 3 point daggers whenever needed. Guys like Murray and Forbes will start to mature and perform. We see Green and Mills return to 2014 form. A hidden gem or two emerges and become X-factors for the regular season and the playoffs. They could, go, all, the, way.
Or...
Kawhi will be forced to carry a bunch of average players on his back throughout the regular season. The team will overachieve until the playoffs, winning close to 60 games primarily due to Leonard's sheer skill, compe iveness and desire to win. In the post season, the teams with the depth will be too much for our one-man army, and the Spurs will lose in the 2nd round.
And that's if Kawhi stays healthy and puts together an MVP and DPOY season. If Kawhi misses significant time, reaching the playoffs would be a good RS. In a season where we have essentially just "aged", it could get brutal playing teams that have re-loaded and always target the Spurs.
No HCA, first round out. Kawhi will get the blame, Poop will get the credit, MSM will declare Drunkford's next draft pick a steal
Every season I'm hoping I'll be watching them play in June. For that to happen we will need to one the top seeds in the West. I'll go 58-24.

Similar to my thoughts. 55-58 wins, WCF appearance. Hopefully MVP Zaza isn't up to his old tricks again
Ginobili retirement parade, Kawhi early "injury" that grants us a good pick, showcasing Gasol and Mills so they can be traded for something usefull other than "experience" and "buddyness"
Spurs projected 3rd in the West.
Notably, Boston and Houston projected to rise, Minnesota makes a big leap too.

If healthy the Spurs will win it all.
Sadly, there's no Tim Duncan, 36yo MVPelon, LDN, Ibaka's posterizer, Not Fatty Mills, MVFerrari, Diaw 2.0, Austin Daye & Golden God this time.
5th in the west first round exit.
Instead we have:
Out of shape, discontent LMA
One-legged TP
40 going on 41 Manu
One-legged Rudy Gay
Declining Danny "fresh out the club checking out underage girls" Green
Broken Micowave Mills
37 year old Pau 48 million dollar man Gasoft
Dejounte "I'd rather tweet and Instagram with dogface filters" Murray
Fathead "I'm afraid to shoot corner threes" Anderson
Fathead Jr.
Brandon Paul
Davis "I don't boxout" Bertans
Bryn "I wilted in the summer league playoffs" Forbes
And some guy named Blossomgame

People here still underestimating/comparing that 2014 team after OG's "we will do it this time" legendary 30 for 30 quote.
I never compared teams...
Yes you did Coach. But I won't turn this into a ping pong so we good![]()
If only someone had that mentality aside from Kawhi.
Listen the Spurs roleplayers are nice, thanks to their regular season play the team got the record it did. They are fine and the vast majority are in really cheap efficient contracts. The problem is at the top where Pop has a LMA who is mentally weak, Gasoft, Manu 40 years old, one legged Tony and one legged Gay, and 12 million undersized microwave who is going to malfunction in the playoffs when guarded by size while also being a sieve... look at the price of that roster costs.
Heck at this point Davis no boxout and Kyle I am afraid to shoot will leave next season and you still are stuck with that crew ^![]()
Second in the West.
Convincing win in the Western semis......
A massive battle against GS in the Western Finals.....
