I caved in and watched the episode, and it's the first time in seven seasons that I was able to fully appreciate the power of Dany's dragons, and that probably has to do with the fact that I'm invested in the fight at the climax. Drogon is terrifying. The Lannisters immediately lost their when he started lighting them up.

My only question is why didn't Dany bring Rhaegal and Viserion? She rode Drogon herself, so there is no point in leaving the other two at Dragonstone. If she dies, the other two would either just off somewhere else or start terrorizing Westeros. But that's a minor gripe.
This episode was insane even in ty quality. Can't wait to see it in HD.

The battle scene at the end was pretty great, I do call bs on Bron and Jamie living though.

Lets be honest, both of them s should have burned to death at some point in the battle. A pretty dull episode outside of the battle scene, but the battle scene made the rest of the episode worth watching.

Was an epic battle scene. Now the question I have is: how many of the dothraki did this cost Daenery's? The le of the next episode is "blood of the dragon". So, yeah, either Daenery's or one of her dragons shed blood (or die)...or something else that I read by ing up with my own curiosity.

You didn't read thoroughly enough, because neither Daenerys nor her dragons get hurt next episode, if the leaks are true.

Im assuming Rhaegal and Viserion are not there because they decided to use the CGI money in future episodes. Same reason we rarely see Ghost.

For a bunch of scared ass Lannister's they sure held their ranks decent enough after seeing a Dragon for the first time burning people nearby to a crisp.

I would have expected to see some people flee in terror and lose their . For the most part, gotta give Lannister army and Jaime credit.
Dragon's are so cheap lol, what would the Targaryen's do without being so damned lucky with the dragons...

Glad Jamie and Bronn are okay, woulda been pissed if they died.

Curious to see how Jamie gets out of that deep water with his armor and hand dragging him down

You know I'd fancy you a Jamie fan. I mean with the username ElKingslayer2 and all.

But come on man, Jamie and Bron are fan favorites, they need a little plot armor.

Suspend some belief, enjoy the plot holes. Ice zombies are coming after all.

That "your people can't fight" line was supposed to be sad for Tyrion... but what did that Dothraki expect the Lannisters to do when they were already spread thin, and then ambushed by a horde of Dothraki and a ing dragon?

That was probably the first battle on GoT that I wasn't sure who was supposed to be the "good guy". While the Lannisters have always been antagonists, I like Jamie and Bron and it was kind of sad seeing all those soldiers roast inside their armor. I got goose bumps when Jamie heard the dragon roar for the first time.

There was no plot armor for Robb Stark or Ned Stark now was their? Both far more popular characters than Jamie and Bron. Not to mention both far more important than Bron. I actually am a big book jamie fan btw. Show Jamie is ok though I suppose, they have made him far too much of cereseis though.

Plenty of fan favorites have died in Game of Thrones. Its been a staple of the series. Since they have lost GRR Martins source material they have gone away from that.

Because they don't want to hurt the fans feelings

if there is scorpions ready to be used... isnt that risky with 3 dragons flying around?

Jamie was very much Cersei's in the books too. He admitted that was the only reason he survived his time as a prisoner, the only reason he became a kings guards (to be close to her), etc...you're reaching, at least troll with facts

Have you read the books? In the most recent one he basically tells her to off and leaves. Feel free to reread if you need to though. He's her in the beginning and has a turning point. Show Jamie, not so much.

lol no he doesn't. He burns Cersci letter before Brienne takes him to Zombie Cat. Could he be his own man and leave Cersci for good? Sure but there is no more material to prove that's the direction he is going. I enjoy what the show is doing with Jamie since he is way too far deep to go back now. He has nothing if he leaves Cersci. A brother who he'll kill next time he sees him, a dead father and mother, no hand so he can never be a knight and no worth in Casterly Rock. All he has left is to protect the kingdom and the woman he loves. And he's gonna betray one of those before the series is over.

You can't fault it when that's a storyline like Lady Stoneheart they are completely avoiding. Most likely because GRRM included it to mean at this point in the storyline.

It's not a weakness in the show as-is, especially when the seeds of Jamie's break from Cersei have been planted with that masterful Tyrell scene

http://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php...-repercussion/Just small sample of all of the stupid going on in the show. Some of this is nit picky , but much of it is legitimate gripes. The show has seen a huge turn downward since season 4.
