CNN just mentioned Pence
"I stand with the president and by those words."
crucify him! cruficy him!
Do you know all the facts or did you just found this out today and are parroting it and equating it?
David duke was and still is a KKK member.
Robert Byrd was one, apologized, regreted it and ammended his ways----50 or so years ago.
But keep parroting you just found out about today and look like an idiot per par.
Oh and BTW, guy was a respected congressmen from both sides.
But Hillary though..![]()
Because Republicans tend to vote for things that over black people, such as restricting voting rights.
Byrd's actions matched his words, as did his voting record.
He did a bit more than simply, and repeatedly apologize.
CNN analysts saying Pence's message is very different from Trump
"I stand by the president and stand by those words"
CNN reporter: "his message is very different from the presidents"
Wolf: "yeah he didn't echo the president yesterday"
Pence: "I stand by the president and by those words"

I think administration communications in public might be at a premium while they do damage control.
Even if he did talk, dude isn't going to on himself like Trump. All Pence has to do is speak in complete sentences and say "Nazis bad."
Here's an idea... How about we talk about Robert Byrd when there are people actually calling for his statue to be removed? Same with Jefferson, George Washington and theing Pyramids.
Conservatives need to figure out what their position is. Are SJW's offended by too many things or not enough things?
he didn't mention nazis![]()
Congratulations though, on deflecting from Trumps failures.
That is exactly what the people you say you don't like want you to do and say.
damn 10 seconds by CNN on Pence
"I stand by the president and by those words"
back to 24hours of Trump
holy blatant
As always you rightwingnutjob over-simplify to the point of willful ignorance, and silly, groundless polemics
"Robert Byrd evolved—he changed for the good.
He apologized for his intolerant past and declared that he had been wrong.
Although he voted against Justice Marshall for the Supreme Court seat,
years later he also voted with 45 other Democrats against the candidacy of conservative Clarence Thomas.
Byrd did not like Thomas’s assertion that he was the victim of a “high-tech lynching of uppity blacks,” and found the introduction of race into the Senate proceedings offensive.
Most of all, he believed Anita Hill’s allegations against Thomas.
Hindsight is 20-20 for those who were misguided enough to support Clarence Thomas, but looking back nearly 20 years, the senator had a very good point.
Sen. Byrd displayed a mix of conservative and liberal points of view in his later years.
Remarkably, though, his politics resonated with the African-American community and came out on the right side of issues that are of concern to black voters.
Byrd enjoyed a perfect 100 percent rating from the NAACP.
He proposed $10 million to fund a Martin Luther King National Memorial in Washington, DC.
The senator received a 67 percent rating from the American Civil Liberties Union, and
a 65 percent rating from the League of Conservation Voters on environmental issues.
He forcefully and eloquently voiced his opposition to the war in Iraq under President George W. Bush, and
voted against the confirmation of Obama’s controversial treasury secretary Timothy Geithner.
We should condemn the man’s racist past,
but honor his recent accomplishments.
And we should respect his ability and willingness to transform his mind and move beyond his cir stances and upbringing.
Robert Byrd did not die as a leader of the Klan,
because he had buried that racist past a long time ago.
However, he did leave us as a leader for all Americans.
So, let us give him a proper goodbye."

Hey, hater just said something happened with no way to verify it!
Since you've made up before, I'll wait.
Lol, yeah, just learned about Robert Byrd today. And 1964 was long after he quit the KKK.
And let me know when Trump calls Duke his friend and mentor.
They were logically traitors.
another massive fail by Chumpdumper.
check this thread, the video is there

You're so ty at parsing words.
He said I stand by those comments (The ones he made a few days later about condenming the attack) and then he also said he stood with the president which is standard and teh reason why Pence has no future political future. His career stops and dies with Trump.
He mentions the KKK, Neo nazis and white supremacy here
Byrd's record included plenty of policies that ed over black people. Are we supposed to believe he was helping black people by filibustering the Civil Rights Act and routinely voting against civil rights legislation?
He only started trying to clean up his image once it became clear that the Civil Rights Movement had won the day. Even then, the real Byrd still slipped out during interviews.
This is the man you're defending:
In a March 4, 2001 interview with Tony Snow, Byrd said of race relations:
"There are white n****rs. I've seen a lot of white n****rs in my time, if you want to use that word."https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_ByrdIn 1997, he told an interviewer he would encourage young people to become involved in politics but also warned, "Be sure you avoid the Ku Klux Klan. Don't get that albatross around your neck. Once you've made that mistake, you inhibit your operations in the political arena."
(No mention of how it's a vile, disgusting hate group... only the political angle mattered to him, apparently.)
Not enough signatures, but almost.

For someone that was up to date on all things Robert Byrd you sure was late on bringing him up.
Was that like your ace in the hole? Waiting for the right moment to strike?
Also LOL acting like someone cant be a memtor because they used to hold terrible and backwards views.
There are plenty of people who were in the KKK or were racist that are now decent people. People are allow to take advice and consider anyone as a mentor.
By your pathetic logic, I guess people aren't supposed to be mentor by ex convicts and the like.![]()
Chris with the goods.
So Darrin is going to deflect with the dead guy for the rest of the day.![]()
