Same in San Antonio

Not sure if San Antonio is seeing this, but people in Austin are freaking out about a "gas crisis", causing gigantic lines at the pumps and leading to stations running out of gas.
There is no gas shortage. It's just a self-fulfilling prophecy being perpetuated by social media and word of mouth.
Go buy gas if your tank is near E, but don't go fill up your half-empty tank just to hoard it.
This is also happening in NC. Pretty damn frustrating considering there would be more than enough of gas if people weren't panicking and just filled their cars up at a normal rate instead of hoarding. the media for creating this mess.
I filled it up. I don't give a .
And old ladies skipping lines to put gas. That so funny.![]()
All the little gas stations are out. And they are price gouging. 3 dollars in some areas. The big gas stations can handle some of the strain.
People in Dallas are freaking out too. ing re s.
Yeah, hopefully this dies off in a couple days. We have no weekend plans, and have enough gas between our vehicles to get us through next week if need be.
And there have been fights at the pumps over who's turn it is and . People are crazy. When hits the fan, it's every man for himself.
What are you all seeing it for? I just took my dog for a walk and saw it's $2.55 now. Man I paid $1.97 a gallon last week to fill the tank.
Don't really remember... $2.40 or so.
I filled mine last night (got lucky that it was time to fill it right before people went crazy) for 2.30 in the uptown Dallas area which isn't bad at all.
I thought about filling it up on my way home from work but saw the lines stretching out onto the street and was like nah I'm good. ing re s.![]()
stupid people and me for needing gas
People are pretty stupid.
It's crazy in Austin, every station is price gauging and lined down the block. We filled up on Tuesday in anticipation of this; funny thing is tomorrow or Saturday all will be back to normal. There is no shortage at all, in fact there is a surplus of gas.
Still lines of 15+ at both my neighborhood stations. $2.36 up from $2.06 when I filled up Sunday.
Maaaaaan I was at Wal-Mart in a long ass line an as soon as I got 1 car back from the pump, they ran out!!! Then I had to call in to work cuz I had to find a gas station. This is soooooo ing re ed. I was low on gas cuz I was running low an today was my payday. So I get gas every payday.
Imagine if it was a food shortage! People would kill each other for sure.
I doubt you'd have much trouble finding a salad in town tbh
HEB gas stations will have gas tomorrow morning or so.
Only a couple of gas stations with gas. There was still a line in the one of the few with gas that i went to. Other cars I needed to put gas in.![]()
I feel like getting my duds on right this minute and driving up to the corner to make sure I could get gas if I needed it even though I don't.
It was $2.39 at the valero in my town yesterday, up from $2.07 when I filled up last week
Gas / refinery shortage is all an act, a scam, by design.

You can read the internal do ents for yourself. Chevron, Texaco.
"Internal do ents from some of America's biggest oil companies suggest higher prices at the pump may, in part, be a result of a deliberate strategy to limit domestic gasoline production..."
