Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., slammed the White House as an "adult day care center," and Tuesday that phrase was used against him by a fellow Tennessee Republican.
"Look, if you talk about an adult day care center, I'm sorry, but I think the Senate is an adult day care center," House Budget Committee Chair Diane Black, R-Tenn., told Hugh Hewitt on his radio show.
Corker tweeted over the weekend:
"They can't get anything done over there," Black added. "We've been waiting for repeal and replace, you voted for it 60 times, and you tell me you can't give me a product to at least give to us so we can get a conference?"
The most recent spat between Corker, who recently announced his upcoming retirement, and President Donald Trump began when the senator said Trump's Cabinet members "separate our country from chaos," and suggested that they are doing a better job than the president.
