I wouldn't hold your breath. How is he any different than your run of the mill politician who tells his base that cutting taxes for the rich, increasing military spending, slashing safety net programs, privatization and deregulating wall street will strengthen the middle class? Outside of the life-long Democrat rust belt voters who only flipped in 2016 because Trump promised to get rid of free trade agreements, I doubt he's going to see much backlash from his base.

You said Trump did poorly among intelligent people in the general because too much college made them into liberals so I posted a fact showing that even when it was only republicans voting he did horrible among the educated. Pretty much entirely disproves your theory about why smart people didn't vote for him tbh.

I said nothing of the sort, learn to use the quote function. Interpretation with confirmation bias spin doesn't equate to a quote. I said people who spend their lives in school don't have a good foundation for understanding the reality of those who don't. They just pretend they do because their liberal professors told them they do. They weren't smart enough to see that fact, and they lost.

Your take here is basically this "Yeah, they lost but they are smarter"
