So most people go around saying "she would do anything" without anything being infered from that. Sure. Naive boy.
So when you're talking to someone and they say, "I'd do anything to have a day off on Monday", you infer that they are willing to have sex?

    That's ed up.

The phrase clearly says "she would do anything". As in, talking about someone else. You know damn well that is not the same context. "I would do anything for a day off" and "she would do anything for campaign contributions" are not even the same context and you damn well know it

So is it the "she" that causes you to infer that it means sex? What if it was a guy and Trump said that? What would you take that to mean? Be honest.

As re ed as Trump is, he's not going to say something like that and mean it like you're taking it.

So many idiots on the left and right that have to try to jump on anything that can further their cause.

She would do anything for money that was the context. What is that supposed to mean? And Trump never goes after men that way.

You're truly re ed. I doubt any rational Democrats are going to grab hold of this bull .

Dude, the implication "she will do anything" is pretty clear to anyone.

If you think he wasn't trying for that, you should really, really, look at some of the other gross that Trump had said.

As dumb as this er is, he meant it exactly that way.

Uh...no it doesn't. It's a pretty a common phrase. And in most cases, normal people don't infer sex.

The fact that you think it implies sex makes you pretty creepy.
When you were in my office, you said you would do anything for a raise. I will take you up on that.

"It is tempting to split today’s Republican Party into factions, to see Trump as a bizarre aberration, to see his voters as alienated and marginal, to see Roy Moore as an inexplicably Alabaman phenomenon, and to frame establishment Republicans as fundamentally normal politicians suffering through an abnormal moment. This is wrong.
Trump could flourish in the Republican Party precisely because “normal” Republicans like McConnell and Ryan spent years dismissing the facts they didn’t like, undermining the ins utions and information sources that contradicted them, indulging the conspiracies and falsehoods they found convenient." —Ezra Klein

you're asking me what the phrase "she would do anything" means?

In the political context, I would think that it means doing unscrupulous things like lying. I wouldn't jump straight to assuming it means sex.

God damn, you must be hard to deal with in real life. Do you take every exaggeration, metaphor, and hyperbole literally?

I'm surprised you're in on this too. As dumb as he is, he's not dumb enough to say that and mean it that way. I'll say he was dumb to say that and not realize that a bunch of other dumb people are going to infer that he meant she'd for campaign contributions.

He is not dumb in that way. Again, look at his past piggish statements. I can provide a few dozen of them. I think he meant it exactly that way, and the pattern of piggishness backs that up.

What the . Now you're stereotyping managers and "high power people"????

That's not how most of them talk or think.

I agree that some do and that it's not right. But it's not as common as you seem to think.

This is the best post on the subject. Crying about harassment when the better criticism is that POTUS is tweeting lame troll attempts at other senators. The tweet is pathetic; but thinking its sexual harassment is snowflake mentality to a T.

    Huge double standard.

Several times a week, I'll be buying a drink at a convenience store and the woman behind the counter has the nerve to call me "hon" or "sweetie". Or follow me into the bathroom and stick her finger in my butt when I'm trying to pee.

The last bit was my embellishment to make a point.

It is a statement by the president of the united states. Does the medium mean the content is any different?
